here are a few things that you guys can check out for Applejack Appreciation Day. I like all of the main 6 (minus Rarity (not all the time but most of the time), it really more of a personal thing.)
There is just something about Applejack that make her different from the other's. It mainly have to do with Applejack is alike like my mom.

Yeah, you hear me right my mom. I am not going into too deep (I might do a blog in the future about the three things I like about each of the main 6). To but it simply, my mom (like AJ) it always a there for my family She put her family before her and she is VERY stubborn most of the time (no really she is). And one my personal favorite episode of season 1 is 'Apple-buck Season' (after The Best Night Ever)
and finally she is the only pony (out of the main 6) that kept her original design (G1)
Like I said, I can't say if I have a favorite pony (normally I appreciate the different roles and personalities they have and I like to look at how each story portrays them), but Applejack is rarely a miss with me.
One thing is for sure: the show wouldn't be the same without our AJ. Gotta love the dependable hard-working apple pone!

After the Fact:
Aw heck, I love AJ. She's so strong and supportive of her friends. She's tough, but she deeply loves her friends, which shows in so many things both great and small she does throughout the show. She's more of a Badass Normal than any of the others -- she relies on strength and speed and courage to win the day -- yet this doesn't prevent her from keeping up with a group which includes some of the most powerfully-magical mares in Equestria.
Applejack is awesome.

I know, but some people do. There's a meme where it shows Derpy, and the caption says "Applejack was a background pony in that Derpy episode." I know you like AJ, why would you make this post if you didn't?
