my life has died down some (also Equestria Girls)

so in the brief lull(z) i'm going to be here some more, might as well spill some thoughts

i'm doing research papers right now, those are fun, lots of reading. lots of citations. i also decided to write non pony things for a while, because my muse is fickle and does the opposite of what i want. such is life. i have a job, which i should be sleeping for right now but forget that because instead i'm going to talk about Equestria Girls 2

new best villains, but Chryssy will always be my favorite (Discord is best princess if you're wondering).
but seriously though, **mild spoilers if you haven't seen the trailers at all** the Dazzlers were great. their songs had me convinced that sirens are real. they were very well executed temptation-incarnate.
meanwhile the Rainbooms had songs. they were nice
lots of hilarious moments and gags, too many for me to remember even as i was walking out of the theater. if the first one left you feeling skeptical about EqG, this one is a great redemption effort.

keep writing everypony, i'll see you again in two and a half months, hopefully with a bachelor's degree and most of my mind intact.
