If I could write the next MLP movie.

There was a question postedin a group that was 'You have final say on the next pony movie being made, what is the setting and what is it about?'.
The intended response was a paragraph at most. So here's what I wrote.

Ok bare with me here, this is going to be long.
After being called back to the human world in rainbow rocks through means that I assume will be completely glossed over with hopefully zero pony story at all with all human this movie is set before twilight goes back there.
Seems the original portal is still closed she has to create a new one. And she does. The problem is this is the infinite universe and instead of traveling to the human world she travels to an alternate equestrian [possibly like the anti-questria comic story arc, IDK I haven't read it yet]
She and Spike wind up in the middle of no where still in pony form with the object/portal that got them there missing. Spike if fine but tired and quickly getting even more tired until she's at the point of complete exhaustion for no understandable reason but they have to keep on going to find civilisation.
They don't find it however. instead the find nature. Or rather nature finds them just as they're about to freeze to death. A forest nymph/dryad [true neutral aligense] and he puts them in his enchanted glade that much like the crystal empire which presumably they're in, is harm and flourishing even though they're in the far north. they're stuck there for over a day and are being 'kindly' held captive.
not long after while the dryad is out doing druid stuff they notice they're being watched by someone who turns out to be a blue unicorn [not Trixie] who was sent to inspect a disturbance in the alicorn force. He speaks with the dryad and pulls the 'by royal decree of Celestia and Luna' card and takes the two.
they're teleported to the castle where celestia is holding court and are kept in a chamber that once again they're trapped in while the unicorn, whose name is Star informs the princesses about the captive in in fact an alicorn.
Twilight tells celestia and luna about how she was celestia's student and celestia says she has never taken a single personal student. they then go into a heavily watered down explination of the multiverse theory and assigns star to assist twilight in returning ot her own dimension. Mean while Spike is slowly becoming healthier but is still heavily exhausted.
night falls and luna tells celestia 'I fear she is lying ot us sister and as our spy has nto returned... allow me to enter her dreams and see watch she truly knows.' but more fancy like. and so she does. it's all dreamy wheamy wibbly wobbly at first but after a minute or so twilight realises it's a dream and using a the same spell luna is using [that she was OBVIOUSLY taught...] discovers luna is spying on her. But in dream form she see luna's true self - nightmare moon.
Cut back to the real world where celestia is informed that her spy has infact returned and goes to the court yard just as a large dragon lands, or crashes rather. the fully grown purple dragon with green scales is also completely exhausted. his name is spiralstasz [warcraft dragon name reference] you thought it was spike didn't you? Well, it is.
Celestia figures out that spiralstrasz and spike are alternate version of the same person and a constant between the two world. the reason they're both so tired is because they're both drawing from the same singular life form. she imidiately orders twilight and spiek be brought to the court yard.
cut back to the dream. Twilight is fighting off nightmare moon in the dream but is losing. however, NMM knows that it's only a matter of time before twilight can wake up so instead of trying to defeat her in the dream she casts a locking spell preventing twilight from muttering a single word about NMM in any way at all. however in doing so she leaves her self open and right as twilight is about ot win, she's woken by royal guards as she and spiek are forcefully taken to the court yard.
the closer together spike and spiralstrasz are the less the lethargicness affects them and as his strength returns spiralstrasz hastily tells celestia and [shortly arriving after] luna 'King Sombres forces march! they will be here within days.'
Celestia frowns, as does luna, and then turns to twilight and asks for forgiveness. She thought she was a spy of theirs but that spike and spiralstrasz are oen in the same prove her story was true. she issues orders to a few troops to prepare and then calls for the arch mage Star Swirl the Youthful to prepare for war.
And that's when twilight puts it all together. this isn't an alternate reality, she's in the past!
End. It's a trilogy.
