Thankfully, my Tumblr account has been restored today. I am thankful that the staff were able to resolve this, and my impatience regarding the matter may have caused me to say things I did not mean. This does not mean that you shouldn't be cautious when signing up. Follow all the steps to the letter, check your e-mail for verification messages, as they may not always mention them assuming that you keep your mail program open at all times.

If a problem like this occurs, contact support immediately, and calmly as you can, explain the issue. Do not allow your impatience to cause you to lash out at the support staff, they are there to help, and doing so may get you ignored.
