A tale of woe: The failure of Tumblr

I had attempted to create a Tumblr account in order to follow my favourite blogs on that site, many of which were Pony themed. It certainly makes more sense than loading each blog I like in a browser tab of it's own each day just to check for a single new post. But then the unthinkable happened.

Even though I had just created the account mere minutes ago, when I attempt to login I am presented with:

Your account has been terminated.

Of course my first thought is 'what in the name of the stars above is this for?! I only just made this account!'.

I don't know what happened, and I am trying so hard to get my NEW account repaired by contacting Tumblr support, but I have yet to get a response. Did I miss a step? Perhaps some verification e-mail they forgot to mention?

Be aware that Tumblr may do this abhorent thing to you too!

I may be denied the ability to follow my favourite Tumblr blogs, but thanks to this subsection of Fimfiction, Twitter, and possibly some other services, I can at least still get my thoughts out there.

This whole thing has me upset, this is a clear denial of service on Tumblr's part, and I'm certain it must be illegal somewhere in the world to do this to an unsuspecting new user.
