Stress is Optional (and other stuff) · 10:33am Sep 27th, 2014
I'm back on holiday again (woohoo) for a massive two weeks until my Uni Examinations. A whole two weeks of writing, working, studying, watching Legend of Korra, playing Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, and plenty of food consumption. Oh boy, it must be Christmas. I've already dedicated a solid few hours of each day to writing, editing, and helping out with various other projects.
Where to start. AC4:BW is obviously getting an update very soon (seeing as it's my most popular story) along with further work on the Of Kindness and Loyalty update, which is really starting to bug me. Slowly working away at other stories, rewrites, and the like. You've probably heard all this before so I wont talk about it for too long.
Stress has always been a reoccurring issue for me, something I find really hard to simply ignore. For the past few years I've had an interesting variety of health issues and stress has been a major contributor. Nearly all of it, however, is my own fault. Either I put too much work on myself without thinking or I keep altering my schedule and pushing things back. I have been taking some of the firsts steps in easing my workload and relieving stress.
I am starting to look back into the FlutterDash group, an area in which I feel like I've utterly failed in. I have so many things planned and I need to get started before I lose motivation again. I'm still kicking myself over it and my utter stupidity. I'm also looking into a possible co-written story with one piece wolf who suggested the idea. I haven't promised anything, but it gives me an opportunity to share some ideas while not taking on too much work.
Another noteworthy project is my involvement with a new Lightning Dust centered story staring yours truly, sorta. It's called What You Deserve and I highly recommend taking a look and leaving a thumbs up (Lightning Dust needs more love). I'm looking forward to getting started and the author has been very encouraging.
I guess I'll leave it there for now. Stay awesome!
My new avatar is so adorable!
