Change of Pace: A Short Story. · 12:59am Jun 13th, 2012
Hey there my fellow brony writers and readers! I wanted to write an extra special blog post. While I haven't started Chapter 4 yet of A Tale of Two Nations, I wanted to mention two things. First I may be considering a name change, but I should be writing 4, 5, and probably 6 very soon. I'm also happy to report I got a hefty chunk of the story planned out, so it's all coming together nicely!
(Something nice that can be said about anything I've ever done, considering I usually throw away whatever comes to mind.)
However, I wanted to also report that I decided to write a short story. This was directly inspired from AbsoluteAnonymous' story called "A Writer's Lament," a story which touched me, and ultimately shattered my writer's block. If you haven't read it yet, go give it a read! It's very good, along with the rest of AA's stuff!
I wanted to write a piece that came from the bottom of my heart, and reflected some of the trials and tribulations I went through to start bringing you A Tale of Two Nations, as well as show you all what inspired me, as well as the character in the story. I hope you guys like it, and see what kind of epiphany I went through to discover my passion for storytelling.
