So, as I'm sure most of you know- Candy is over. The story is done, and... that's it. There's a sequel/reboot in progress, titled 'From Their Hearts', and I'm already working on the first chapter with Patric.
There's no cover art or description yet- as we've just started today- but expect something to be up before the week is out.

Sheesh, I really find this to be a tough topic.
Most of the time when I read fics, they're usuly HiE fics(mostly because it is my favorite type), but I always get this little feeling of sadness, y'know?
And it's because I know I'll never get there. I suppose I read them to escape, but it never works...

I hear ya there. Seem's like it would be quite the place to live or visit. But strangely enough, despite my fascination for having such an adventure, I tend to gravitate towards HiE fics where it isn't as peachy/happy as everyone might think it is, and instead is more realistic/harder to exeperience (but not so far as to make it dark). Maybe's it's just me trying to convince myself to not dream about it. Not trying to advertise my stuff, but I feel like my opinion on the matter is summed up by a quote in one of my stories.
"Princess Twilight? I'd like a restraining order against a miss Lyra Heartstrings...and from what I've seen about this town you seem to be the only authority figure here who gets anything done."
