Moving Ahead

I am a man of fleeting interests. Usually shows hold my interest for maybe a season if lucky. So it comes as a surprise to me that I am still throughly interested in MLP. At first it was the show itself. Then the fandom. Then the works of the Fandom. Every day is a new thing to keep me coming back. Songs, animations, stories. The Starbound mod, the MLP MMO, and the cancelled fighting game being more reasons to stick around. Also this is the first show to make me actually write out fanfics in a public forum. And the second to actually make me write Fanfic. The first being Teen Titans. Usually I am satisfied with a show enough not to want to write. Teen Titans made me want to write because of how it ended. MLP makes me want to write because of all the possibilities. I am unsatisfied with the little bit of Equestria shown in MLP I want to know more. History, places, cultures, races. I want to know that world. I want to see it developed into a universe as detailed as LotR. It is a huge place that the show only shows us mentions and rumors of. Stalliongrad. Griffon kingdom. Changelings and Thestrals. We get snippets and nothing more. It sends my imagination running to fill in the gaps. And apparently many of you as well. That said I have a habit of setting things down for extended times and picking them back up if they stay of interest. So there will be times I seem to disappear for months then suddenly have a lot of activity. I apologize if this upsets anyone but its how I work. Anyway this whole rant boils down to this sentence.

Its nice to be writing again I hope some of you enjoy my writing.
