At least, that's what it says when I copy-paste the title into google translator. It should be saying "Another Day", but I guess Chinese is so far away from English that a machine translation can't be trusted. Yes, Chinese, you read that right.
Some weeks ago when Another Day got featured, Nostradamus T commented on it asked for my permission to translate it, and he actually did! He posted the translation on his blog, and the story's so far gotten "Concern Popularity: 25" which is 'likes', I guess. Needless to say, I feel honored by the translation. This is something that hasn't happened to me before, and although I don't know how common translations of fanfics are, It made me feel very special.
A little update on the side: Another Day has taught me that retro-engineering stuff into an already written story is possible, but hard. Also, the outcome may be less than optimal: The first half of the story was written with no idea about how the end would play out, and it shows... it's very heavy on the exposition, and while it infuses emotion and backstory for those that would listen, it could be more relevant to the story. I got far too attached to that part of the story to be able to cut it down as much as necessary.
To not fall into that trap again, I'm trying to be far more thorough with planning out my new story. It's going to be significantly longer than any of my previous stories, and far more diverse. If I do it right, it'll have sad, happy, tragic, uplifting, infuriating and touching parts, but to make all of this plausible, it'll need even more planning. If you've enjoyed my previous writing, it's definitely worth looking forward to, and I actually feel that I've got a better idea of what's going on already than with Another Day two weeks before I'd written the final draft, by which time the story had been published about 6 months already, so I'm actually getting faster!
