So, those few of you who follow me may have noticed that I have been getting slow as of late. Updates are slow, I basically never post anything of substance here, and I rarely interact. This is not without cause. Of course, school is a very large factor. My own laziness and my ability to be distracted so easily are also large factors. However, there is another very, very important thing stopping me from writing on here.
Now, I've never really talked about it on here, but one of my ultimate goals is to write professionally. The first story I ever wrote was on here, and in retrospect, it was garbage. Basic, run-of-the-mill fanfic stuff. But through that I got into writing, and it's now one of the few things I legitimately love.
That said, this leads to a very real problem I am now facing. It won't be long until I'm off to college. If I want to be competitive in any way in the writing field, I need a portfolio built. And the fact of the matter is that fanfiction doesn't look very good in a portfolio. I'm maturing. It's time to grow out of the training wheels of fanfiction and start really riding the bike.
As such, the time has come for me to pull the plug on my last project, Invasion of the Astro Monster: All Out Attack. It was a joy to write, and I'm sorry I'm cutting it so early in its story, but that's just the way things go.

I just can't STAND a story without a conclusion, I MUST know how it all ends.
