Updates and things and such, I suppose · 12:40pm Jun 9th, 2012
So firstly I wanna apologize for taking my sweet, sweet oh so sensually sweet time with getting chapter five of CHatNM out--I was [error: excuse not found] so there. (Am I the only one immensly pleased that the acronynm makes a funny word: Chat'n'M' ?)
I do have Finding Solace to show for it though, and there's always a new Pony vs Starcraft rebounding around my head to put down. The former is entirely nothing like the other one shots so heads up and note the tags. It's just something I wrote because...well, because I wrote it. Any sentiment, comment, praise, criticism, or well worded rebuttals are welcome. Didn't have too much of a clue what I was doing, so that's nothing new.
Story concepts - Now that Finding Solace is out of the way, a new idea stepped in to take its place...then another new idea came in, and the two are currently fighting for dominance.
Firstly, and without saying it in too many words -in the red corner- The lighthouse keeper of a lonely and rugged stretch of coast is thrown an unexpected change by fate, but in due time they will have to learn the true difficulty in setting what you love free. Melancholic, I suppose, but to the extent that Finding was. More bittersweet, methinks.
-and in the blue corner-
She sells pillows and dreamcathers, and her talent is in sleeping. Nopony else knows, but asleep, she can feel the dreams of others. When a strange new dream of hope and fear and instinct lurks in the corners of Ponyville, she sets out to discover what it is...and what it's from. Always on the cusp of sleeping and waking, can she find enough clues in both to solve the mystery? Mystery, but not dark.
Since CHatNM takes precedence and I'd like to update it faster than I have been, I'll take my time with one and/or the other of these two - any input as to which you'd rather see will be taken into account and might sway my indecision one way or the other.
And lastly - the crackfics:
The new ideas I'm juggling and tasting-
Luna vs the Dark Templar, as I randomly came up with right now.
Rainbow Dash vs Leviation, as suggested in the comments
Applejack vs Vulture, as improvised from a suggestion.
Again, any input would easily sway me towards one or the other, and I've got the basic outline for all three, to some extent or other.
Anyyywayyy, that's it for now, time to walk the dogs.
