So I have a great deal reading fanfiction from this site since 2013.... or 2012, I do not remember well and too lazy to check. Eventually i do end up getting bored and start finding the Comic Series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
The Comic series is pretty good in the Alternative Universe (not if it is, correct me if im wrong). So far i have gotten issue 12, 15, 17, 18, and 20...... especially in Hot Topic. Awsome deals there, Buy one get other 1/2 off. you may not find the right ones your looking for, but its worth the find in HT. Well usually TheCorruptedNightmare would Fangirl (yesh she does) about this, but she was fairly calm about it
