Something peculiar I've noticed, both with my stories and others, the number of likes and views seems horribly slanted in the direction of Mature content.
As I type this, my story 'A Bunch of A-Holes' has 135 views in 7 days, while my Titanic story has 141 in just under 4 months. 'A-Holes' has 18 likes and six dislikes. Titanic has 6 likes and 8 dislikes.
Then, on the far bottom of the scale, my story with almost no Mature content at all, Waxing Lyrical has 44 views in three weeks, two likes, and no dislikes.
Does anybody have an explanation for why the more Mature the concept is, the better it is liked? Especially when it's all based on a show written for immature little kids.
