CALLING TO ALL WRITERS (Stories I can't write but I would like to read some day) · 6:49am Jul 19th, 2014

So, as I already explained, I have a severe case of attention deficit creator disorder. This means that my weird functioning brain is always, ALWAYS, flooding with story ideas. But I still have enough reason to know where to stop adding projects to my folder and enough willpower to retain myself. This doesn't mean that I'm actually able to stop the thinking process (even if I could I wouldn't) so here are some ideas I once thought would make a great story but I'm not gonna write any time soon.

I would like to see these on screen someday, so if some of the writers following me actually likes one of these premises, he or she already has my full blessing on writing it as long I'm informed of such fic being written.

1.- Villain?

After a recent adventure in the Everfree forest, the Mane Six find an improvised refuge inside a cave. Inside there is lying a near dead Trixie. They take her to the hospital where the diagnosis is malnutrition combined with several minor injuries and that the recovering would take weeks if not months before she even awakes. When Trixie awakes (two weeks) she is mad angry at the Six, blaming them for her misfortune and not wanting to see any of them. So they simply ignore her when she's out of the hospital. Only Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy try to understand what's happening and after avoiding the subject, Trixie reveals that after the Ursa Minor incident she tried to reinvent herself with a brand new act but everywhere she went, she was chased outta town. At first she attributed this on the sole Ursa Minor, but in Canterlot she overheard a comment of some nobles being actually afraid of her

It results that the sole act of antagonizing three of the Element Bearers was way more sounding than the Ursa thing, to the point that everypony on Equestria thought about Trixie as part of the Elements of Harmony's Rogues Gallery and even compared with Nightmare Moon and Discord. So hard was the blow to her self-image that she went discorded even before Discord's attack. In her depression she decided to recluse herself in the Everfree "with the other monsters" till the world could forgot about her. The rest of the story would go around the Mane Six trying to come into terms with Trixie and convince everypony (Trixie included) she is not a villain.

2.- Tower of Babel

After Discord's attack, Twilight is terrified of how quickly the draconequus turned her best friends against each other and after seeing Chrysalis mind controlling Shining Armor her worries only growth. These two events drive her to create a series of weapons, just in case one or the six of them turns evil and has to be stopped (just like the eponymous story of JLA). The weapons are based on the Flash's Rogues Gallery as the following:

Rainbow Dash: Too fast and highly dangerous at hoof reach. Tends to go "tunnel vision" when focused on a task. An environment attack around her is more effective that trying to outrun her. Use the weather (Weather Wizard).
Rarity: Not a high class spell caster but very skilled at levitation and hoof to hoof combat. Can focus and adapts quickly before danger. Multiple ranged projectiles in erratic patterns of trajectory should be able to break her defenses (Captain Boomerang).
Pinkie Pie: Completely unpredictable, provably dangerous at any range. Only real weakness is emotional vulnerability and easy to distract. Psychological warfare by fooling her, laughing AT her (Trickster).
Fluttershy: To innocent, psychological attack would be devastating but not effective if she is actually focused (friends, family or pets in danger). The "Stare" has proven to have a strong magical effect. Afraid of becoming a "monster" herself. Confronting her with her own weapon seems to be a good direction (Mirror Master).
Applejack: Strong, very strong. Any physical attack weaker than a three ponies size boulder is doomed to fail. Psychologically strong too, can keep herself and others around her focused in extreme situations. Like with Rainbow, using the environment is the best option. Physically stronger than a pegasus requires more extreme measures (Heatwave).
Spike: Not really strong but nigh invulnerable. Natural dragon resistance to spells (perfect practice doll in case something goes wrong). Smart enough to think and be creative during emergencies. Breaths fire and has direct communication with the Princesses. Too young means also more vulnerable to suggestion. Synapses interruption system by using sound waves (Pied Piper).

When King Sombra's door trap forced her to witness her worse nightmare, it also made a copy of everything she knew, including the knowledge of how to create the weapons and their use. King Sombra comes back but in secret and uses these weapons (with some modifications to use them also with Cadance and Shining Armor). The only thing that saves the Mane Six is the intervention of the only thing that Twilight wasn't counting on, their antagonists (Gilda, Trixie, Iron Will, Flim, Flam, Lightning Dust). All of them helps because they may don't like the Mane Six, but if the Elements fall then Equestria falls and they live there too. After all is said and done, her friends face Twilight for all of this, and Rarity points out that even if the five of them got mind controlled or became evil at once, Twilight is easily stronger and more dangerous than any of them. She reveals that those plans where for other ponies to use, because she could never bring herself to attack them, even in self defense. She finally shows them the only weapon she actually fabricated, the anti-Twilight one.

Twilight Sparkle: High level spell caster, trained since foalhood by Celestia herself and dangerously intelligent. After reaching alicornhood has the potential of being strong as an earth pony and fast as a pegasus, added to her natural magic. Tends to over think everything, easily fooled and has a bigger response time at facing large scale menaces. Only magic that evades her is weather but now it's reinforced by her acquired pegasus magic. Same applies to her former glass canon condition, now countered by earth pony strength. The attack needs to be quick and effectively incapacitating at once, because after the first contact there won't be any other real chance. Freezing her would be a good countermeasure but has to be absolute zero in order to stop her magic too (Captain Cold).

3.- Justice Society of Equestria
(crossover between the Manehattanverse and the golden age of comics)
.

This one comes from everybody doing a Justice League of Equestria or the Avengers, forgetting the very first super-hero team.
In an alternate universe where super-heroes and villains exists, Sandy (Twilight+Sandman) is the protegee of The Bronze Sky Princess (Celestia+Superman+Doc Savage), ruler and protector of Equestria from Metrotpolis (Canterlot+Metropolis, I'm bad with english puns, okay).
Twilight has a prophetic dream about an old villain called Shadow Moon (Nightmare Moon+Fu Manchu+Lex Luthor), who is sealed in the moon, breaking free and coming to Equestia. But when she tells her worries to the Princess, she tells Twilight that is time for her to be a hero of her own and sends her to Manehattan as the Sandmare. She and her companion, Lightning Dragon (Spike+The Flash), go to the city to find it already being protected by five more heroes:

Orange Lantern (Auntie Orange+Green Lantern): A business mare wearing a ring that can make everything she thinks about but has a weakness against wood. Uses her day job connections to be informed about the city.
Mid-Nite Nurse (Octavia+Doctor Mid-Nite): Blind, she can only see by using a special pair of sonic goggles (Mid-Nite's glasses+Octavia's special talent). Agile acrobat and gifted cellist, cares more about helping ponies than chasing criminals.
The Great and Powerful Starmare (Trixie+Starman): Has a cosmic wand (Starman's cosmic staff+Trixie's cutie mark) that can levitate objects and fire destructive energy blasts. Wants to be famous for being a hero.
Daring Hawk (Honey Do+Hawkman): An archaeologist who discovered to be the reincarnation of Commander Hurricane. Wears a set of ancient themed weapons.
Hourflower (Blossomforth+Hourman): A mare that gains super strength, agility and speed plus enhanced senses during an our by eating the Miracle Flower (Hourman's Miraclo pill+Blossomforth's cutie mark). Usually teams up with Mid-Nite Nurse.

At first they don't cope very well at operating in the same city (clashing and so) but then Shadow Moon attacks by orchestrating a crime wave while keeping Bronze Sky busy with robots at Metrotpolis (both homages to James Robinson's Starman and the Fleischer Brothers' Superman) leaving Manehattan's protection to the aforementioned heroes. After learning how to work together as a team they manage to stop the crime wave but during a fight, Sandmare is knocked down. She has another prophetic dream about the Elements of Heroism and how they will use them to end Shadow Moon's reign of terror. They go to the museum and retrieve the Elements but Shadow Moon is already there with Bronze Sky dominated under the influence of her only weakness, kryptonite (I don't have a MLP's counterpart).

At first all seems lost but when Shadow Moon is about to attack Sandmare the rest of her new friends jump at the villain to protect her and through the fight their elements reveal themselves by boosting their actual powers. Finally, Sandmare's element is revealed in the form of a purple crystal helmet (Element of Magic+Dr. Fate's helmet) and with the combined will of the other five bearers, she uses the helmet to cure Shadow Moon from her madness. It's revealed that she used to be The Lunar Bat Princess (Luna+Batman+The Shadow+Two-Face).

Bronze Sky decides that a group operating together is way more effective than just one hero per city and funds the Justice Society of Equestria with a base in Metrotpolis. But Sandmare explains her that Metrotpolis already has the Princess and now that Lunar Bat is back it doesn't need more protection. Manehattan on the other hand could use the extra help. so it's decided that the Justice Society will stay in Manehattan.
