What I plan to do here...

So I've got a collection of stories that I plan on posting but they are all part of the same 'universe' and interact with each other a little. For example, I can't actually publish two of them until one has reached a certain point, and the latest one can't start until everything else is finished. Unless I want to make a prequel where everyone knows the ending... That sounds like a bad idea - AH, I'm ranting!

Anyway, the first story, chronologically, is the origin story for the Elements of Harmony (and Discord, though he's not really all that important at that point). Basically, there was this ancient alicorn nation that were at war with the monsters that are now within Tartarus. Magicia, the alicorn of magic somewhat like Celestia is an alicorn of the sun, creates, with her five closest friends, the Elements of Harmony, which is eventually used to save the world... like a bazillion times. This story is a tragedy mixed with Overcoming the Monster, and is rated teen for violence and pony death (it's not that gruesome, though).

The direct sequel to this story takes place in modern Equestria and concerns the return of a villain from the first story, named Obsidian Malice. She considers the Elements the only means of her defeat, and endeavors to destroy the friendship between the bearers. Ruby Moon, Luna's first prodigal student, finds herself in the center of the conflict and tries her best to cope with being a regular pony amongst the heroes of Equestria.

Following that story, an artifact from the alicorn time, the Book of Lost Stories, has been passed down from pony to pony for two ages, and now finds itself in Ruby Moon's possession. However, the prophesies held within have been lost, and she is at a loss. At the same time, a certain mailmare by the name of Ditzy Doo has delivered to herself a strange letter addressed to her long lost husband. This Lost Story enchants her, and now she finds herself in a quest to recover what has been lost.

During the second two stories, a side story following Lightning Dust and her adventures as she is recruited to be among the newly formed Shadowbolts. First she must learn to overcome her own misjudgements and flaws, then help her team to do the same. However, not all of a Bolts story is aerobatics and training; Luna and Celestia need their bolts for exceptional work that Royal Guardsponies can't be spared for. What are these strange creatures the bolts are sent to investigate? Why do they matter to the Princesses? Where do parasprites (among other things) even come from?

Following all of those things is the story of Celestia hiring somepony to find more of the strange lost artifacts from the ancient alicorn nation. Somepony that is mostly known for being a fictional character by the name of Daring Do. But this pony is real, and she lives a life that mirrors the stories her friend publishes. She must journey from the deep jungles to the peaks of mountains to find the treasures that Celestia seeks.

Well, that was all well and good, but now I feel like a nap. Please, feel free to ask questions. I do enjoy a good rant.

In the order that I mentioned them, here are my current titles.

The Elements of Harmony. (E of H) This is the story in the ancient past.

The Element of Magic. (E of M) This is the first modern story.

Lost Stories. This is the follow up to Element of Magic.

Bolts: Equestria's Elite. (Bolts) This is the story of Lightning Dust.

A Daring Tale. As if the title didn't give it away.
