    Wow, Again.

I had just posted the final chapters of Nopony Escapes Stalag 13 before I was forced to go back to work. Work was hard. Long day short, I am tired as I write this, but I don't have any better times to do so as I am still in shock.

After only one day, my story had accrued 207 views. I had to hold my tongue, I was laughing in surprise. I'm still smiling.

For those who don't get it, my Ponysona is a dark-red Earth Pony with a sword and pen for a Cutie Mark. And, as you may have guessed, his name is Gore.

Now, I didn't know if anypony knew this, but I am on DeviantArt.

    Now Then... What The Buck?

Okay guys, I've been working on the final chapters (yes, you have to bear with me for a bit more as Zecora's story still has two more to go) and gotten pretty far on the second to last, but have hobbled across a new game that really interested me. You see, it's an older game filled with biological and ancient evils kind of monsters chasing you around. The game is SCP Foundation: Containment

    Wow... Just... Wow...

Yesterday, I had finally figured out how to post a story to the general public on this site and called it quits for the night. This morning, to my surprise, I found 11 new messages. I had to stifle a gasp in laughter and surprise, so as not to awaken the rest of my household.

I had a feeling my writing was okay, but only 8 hours and already 8 favorites? I was stunned.

Season 5 and Rainbow Rocks · 5:18pm Jul 11th, 2014

As most of you may know, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will be having a fifth season coming out sometime in 2015. Now, most fans are happy anticipating the next series of episodes. I, however am very pessimistic. Points being:

-The Main Six all have had their dreams completed- at least, the ones who had their dreams specified. Rainbow Dash joined the Wonderbolts. Twilight became a princess and even got her own castle. The others never really gave any indication that they had anything else they wanted. Rarity really only specifies any desires the episode they came into view. Fluttershy only wants to care for different types of animals-something that she already does on a daily basis. Applejack doesn’t really have anything else she wants- it’s all at home. Pinkie Pie is always happy and hasn’t given any light on any goals she may have (excluding attending parties, but come on).

-The baddies are all taken care of. Nightmare Moon was defeated, Discord was re-petrified, Queen Chrysalis was cast out of Canterlot, King Sombra was imprisoned, and Tirek is trapped in Tartarus. Who else could possibly try taking over Equestria now? Although some of Discord’s spare magic was a pretty clever idea instead of just making a new character, I don’t know how much longer they can move on that shtick.

While these two points make me pessimistic, I would lose my mind (in a ba~a~d way) if any of the following are attempted (If they do a good job at it, I won’t be too annoyed, but it’ll still be losing my interest):

-They bring out another villain we’ve never seen or heard of before. I’m understanding to characters like Discord- seeing as that was only the second season- and Sunset Shimmer as why would anyone bring either of them up in any episodes prior (they were gone for a while and never made any ripples before they returned), but characters like Chrysalis and Sombra should’ve been mentioned or even just added for teasers (like in a newspaper photo) because the princesses knew about their inevitable return. I’m not saying I don’t like those characters- I think they’re one of the best- but they seemed to attack only when their episode was up.

-They make small-time ponies like Trixie or the Flim Flam Brothers a big villain, such as Nightmare Moon or Discord was. These characters weren’t meant to be evil; they were meant to be troublesome for their episodes and show the characters another lesson. Trixie is supposed to be boastful and devious in that regard, but not be completely evil. Flim and Flam are supposed to be con-ponies- not fully evil but manipulative for bits. Gilda isn’t evil, but she’s supposed to be bully- like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Lightning Dust never really thought about anybody else and just wanted to get the job done as fast as possible- even if others got hurt. The Diamond Dogs just want gems (and will take them from the tricksie ponies-iss). Siri was just selfish and would take if it meant she’d win. Even Sunset Shimmer, if I may be so bold, wasn’t completely evil; just mislead and, on her quest for more power, used manipulation to become as strong as she could be. All of them gave our heroes a few slip-ups, but they were never shown to be downright evil.

-They make Discord even more of a puppy. Discord is the god of chaos and destruction; he’s not their guard dog. He’s meant to be playful and inconsiderate- so long as he’s having a good time. That’s who he is. They can make him more of a friend to Twilight, as she showed him how friendship works, and have him refrain from attempting control from the princesses as he did in ‘Three’s Company’, but I don’t want him to actually be friendly to anybody else. He can still be mischievous and the others can still not trust him, but he has to retain his ‘God of Chaos’ status.

-Rarity comes in with another super-secret crush. Prince Blueblood shed a bit of light on the maturity of the girls- bringing in a more grown-up premise for Rarity. The same really couldn’t be said for Tenderhoof. I liked Tenderhoof as a character, but don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t horrible, mean-spirited, or even a clean-freak like Blueblood, he was just love-struck by Applejack (normal for beings of the same genus- not humans, guys). Rarity takes on the roll as the high school pretty-girls who have crushes on boys and want to go on dates because none of the others really seem like a good choice (Pinkie is already happy, Rainbow is the athletic high school girl, Twilight is the nerdy type who doesn’t pay much mind to dating as her studies, Applejack hasn’t really shown any concerns over her farming- even to Tenderhoof- and Fluttershy probably be too shy to even attempt talking with a male she has a crush on). I’m fine with that; however, I don’t want her to constantly be having newer and previously unestablished crushes. In the end, it’ll make her look easy, and that’s something Rarity is not.

-The Cutie Mark Crusaders get their cutie marks. Don’t get me wrong, I’m rooting for the girls all throughout their adventures, but that’s what we’re supposed to love about them; they’re too energetic and too youthful to just give them their cutie marks. In fact, if they get their cutie marks, it only forces them to grow up and lose their childhood. I would rather never know what their special talents are than have them lose what makes them special.

Now, while there are issues at could be created throughout the season, there are some bits that, if they were to show, would make the season much better:

-They bring back Pinkie Sense. It doesn’t necessarily have to be an entire new episode like ‘Feeling Pinkie Keen’, but it could be a small joke or just a quick mentioning; such as Pinkie shaking (like when they had the stampede) instead of hopping and Twilight or someone else running over and asking what’s wrong. She’d say something like ‘I don’t know; my Pinkie Sense is acting up. Whatever it is, it’s big!’ and have her shaking throughout episode until the opposing enemy comes up.’ That, or just have her tail waggle when debris is falling and simply slide out of the way as it crashes down where she used to be. In fact, most of the scenarios could’ve been avoided if she’d have her Pinkie Sense. Now, it’s just a forgotten episode that no one talks about and hardly brings up…

-They give Discord a better deal. I think Tirek really had something when he called Discord just a guard dog- even if he was just being deceptive. I think Discord should ask for more, such as his own piece of land where he could do all the chaos he wishes. I understand why dividing the kingdom would be a bad idea, but the God of Chaos needs more, man. In the end, I just want Discord to have his chaotic fun.

-They give back-story to Sombra or other previously unexplained ponies. Having Sombra return would annoy me; however, if they were to give us a background on who Sombra was beforehoof, I might be willing to forgive. Even someone like Zecora could give us a nice history on her and her zebra-kind (not based on my stories). We got a quick background for Siri via exposition line, but we don’t know anything else about most other villains. As long as the history isn’t too cheesy or actually contradicting the previous encounter, they could do a nice job on backstories.

-We see any of the newly introduced characters come back. Coco, Cheese, Tenderhoof, and Silver would all be nice carryover of characters we won’t see much of nor will we as the series can only go on for so long. Getting another episode with any of those characters would be hopefully a very fun experience to see. Them, or some of the other fun characters, such as Trixie or Babs would be nice to see coming back for a couple scenes.

Rainbow Rocks will be out this September and, excitement levels are high. I can’t wait to see how they do it. Based on their previews, video-spots, and history, I have a feeling I know how this may go out.

-I don’t know how the movie will start- be it with Twilight having to return because someone stole something again or they just go straight into the human world, never showing the ‘pony’ in ‘My Little Pony: Equestria Girls’. I’m not sure what I’d rather, but both kind of sound like it’ll suck.

-The music competition will be hosted by many different schools and have other students elsewhere pose as threats to our heroes. I have a thought that a rival school (perhaps similar to that of changleings or Gilda and a posse of her own) would challenge Rainbow Dash and she, being Rainbow, would accept the challenge, resulting in her and her friends beginning the band.

-Trixie will be a secondary villain. While she does pose a issue to what Rainbow wants to accomplish. I honestly think that Trixie will be playing in a band, but it’ll only be her playing the instruments all alone. She’ll be taunting Rainbow and giving them crap, but she’ll never come close to winning.

-Someone I truly do want to see would definitely be Sunset Shimmer. I want to see how they dealt with her and how she’s changed since we last saw her. Does she learn from this world the true powers of friendship, or does she go back to finding her own powers (making her whole psychological advancements in the previous film not only fake, but completely out of context) and manipulates those around in school. Maybe she’d be outcast during lunch and not fully forgiven by many of the other students. Maybe she’d be found doing nice things for the other students and faculty… Ooo! Ooooooo! Discord should DEFINITELY be in there as well. Not a big character, but a nice little cameo. In my mind, he’d be the crazy janitor, annoying Celestia before eventually doing his job.

-Of course, the typical ‘high school band competition’ story will play out, be it someone getting kicked out of the group only to be accepted back before the final performance, or the opposing band creating a diversion or sabotaging our heroes’ instruments. You know, little insignificant plot points that’ll clear themselves up quickly and don’t really put a damper on the characters’ enthusiasm.

-And, of course, Rainbow Dash’ll win, they’ll all go home happy, and we’ll walk from the theater (or bedroom) satisfied with more screen-time of characters, but mostly feeling cheated and unappeased.

… Then again, who knows; maybe they will add a whole new bit of context to the mythos of this ‘Equestria Girls’ land and bring up actually in-depth and thought-provoking theories behind characters of the world we actually know a lot about. Maybe it’ll delve into a mentality we never thought they’d mention or bring up a political issue going on in the real world today. Who knows…

Overall, I will be sure to tune-in to watch catch each episode and see what they have planned for our little friends. Hopefully, they’ll stay away from pressing any of my buttons and give us a thorough and satisfying season as well as a good movie.

As for the story, my computer crashed and deleted all my words, so I had to redo them all. That and several days away from technology are rendering my story process to a halt. However, it will be out sooner rather than later.
