I so dislike this comparison: different planet/galaxy/universe/etc. = different worlds · 6:59am Jun 4th, 2012

i have never liked that comparison and after seeing it again... enough is enough for me. if its within the same universe as us then its not countless worlds, its countless planets. (a planet is NOT a world)

makes me wish i could hit the person who originally made such a comparison (probably wasn't the brightest light at the time >.>) as it is a stupid thought. we live on a planet, a tiny spec of dirt in a solar system in a galaxy in a universe filled with countless other galaxies, not different worlds. maybe if you consider it completely cut off from our world i'd feel differently but no, thats not always the case and is what annoys me about it.

we don't see mars as another world do we?
