    Surprise reveal!

As I'm sure everyone who reads this knows, I am very sorry about not updating Angel of Gold for about a year now.

    HOWEVER!

There may be a little bit of a chapter coming up with a friend...

    There's going to be shenanigans.

    Apologies and Updates

First off, yes, this is magna85, writer of Angel of Gold. Second, I am really sorry about not getting either goal I said I was going to do done. Schoolwork and bad procrastination on my part saps my brain power.

But, I have not yet given up. I will keep trying to get chapter 36 finished and hopefully it will be out before the end of the year.

    Quick Update

Unfortunately, Angel of Gold will most likely be delayed till at least a week, and at most a month (I'm paranoid, sue me). The collaboration process is moving at a snail's pace, but that's because of time-zone stuff and blah blah blah.

    Quick question for the readers

I'm really sorry about Angel of Gold not getting a chapter recently, progress with the next chapter is a little slow. However, I am thinking about submitting a different Displaced story that I was supposed to release after Angel of Gold's finale. But I will make an exception if enough people want it.

So, I'll get to meet the readers soon?!

Bone Yard Specs · 10:35am Jul 2nd, 2014

OK, I will put down some specifics for my Tale of the Narcissistic Skeleton story. Mostly, it's about the command structure of the army and what types of soldiers can be spawned from assimilation. Below that is a special power, which all of my now 23 Super Power Lottery characters will have, in some way or another. It's mostly a way of combining the powers into a horrendously powerful attack, but this story is more focus on teamwork and armies, and so must have massive mecha. Or as close as I can get with just skeletons.

(If dead, first new assimilated becomes the First) The First: Dimensional Scythe, able to use to slice open reality and peer into the multiverse and send orders to the minds of all his selves, Commands All Bones, Direct Commandees are Bone Builders
Bone Builders: Can quickly organize an army into a mighty digging force, tunneling down and build a sprawling underground base with just a shack for the (noticeable) entrance.
Commander: Second under First, a leader when the First is indisposed, commands Bone Guards
Bone Guards: Generally the same as Scythe Masters, just focused on protecting Bone Commanders
Chief Assimilator: Commands Assimilator Adepts
Assimilator Adepts: Stealthily take targets for assimilation to a quiet place and assimilate them according to the most recently received wishes of the First
(can have multiples)Recon Specialist: Commands Shadow Eyes
Shadow Eyes: Search out for intel, assimilation targets, or report on targets that need a heavier hand to assimilate
(can have multiples)Osteo-Operators: Commands Scalpels
Scalpels: If the army is in league with a biological army or needs to keep skin on their bones, Scalpels are the main healers, also making poisons for the Shadow Eyes or potions for biological allies
General of the Bones: Commands Scythe Masters, Shield Bearers, Archers, and Chain Trappers
Warriors: All have mastery of the weapon after which they are named
All Bones can transfer between commanding positions and subservient positions as needed, since information is shared throughout the army. It's sorta like a mind hive, but not, since conscious thought is not shared. Although, due to the same person being spawned every time an assimilation is carried out, they can answer their own questions as if they were the First.

Special: Bone Titan Combination-Due to extreme knowledge of a body, Mortis (the First's name) can order his soldiers to combine into a Bone Titan. However, an entire army is taken just to get the hollow body to have some sort of structure. Can carry enough Bones to create another Bone Titan on the field, or deploy straight into battle as support to the Titan. Requires: Bone Titan Brain (10 Scalpels+1 Osteo-Operator) and Bone Titan Body (200 Scythe Masters[Claws, close range weapons]+500 Shield Bearers [armored points, main body]+ 100 Archers [shoulders, ranged attacks]+100(50) Chain Trappers[message carrying, throwing weapons]+50 Bone Guards [for killing/assimilating any enemies who attempt to climb the Titan])
