Your primary provenance of padded ponies pummeling petrifying plagues. Also, narwhals.

So, last we spoke I wanted some story ideas. What I got was story ideas.

Fluttershy. :fluttershysad: Just look at that face and try to say no.

I quite struggled with this one. Considering my apathy for "put pony in diapers"-stories (writing them, I'm fine with reading them) I needed a few takes. One had Fluttershy stand in front of a mirror and talk to herself about herself, the next had her and Blossomforth talking about leaving Flight Camp for different reasons, and now I may have something I'm somewhat happy with.

To Brave The Dark

It is known that children sleep often, but less so what they dream of. Fluttershy once dreamt of a faraway kingdom and a world she needed to save.

Armed only with an innocent heart; she and a strange small friend by her side brave the dark together.

It's unusual, as we've got a kiddy kid character thrown into a sugarcoated adventure with little real world basis. The diaper part is going to be subdued, while the child part is going to be played up. It'll be a rather innocent adventure in three parts. Hopefully I get it done by july. Thanks for the inspiration, Squee-chee.

There's no plumbing in Tartarus, and with having been stripped of all their magic, the three princesses are having some trouble 'holding it in' after Tirek sends them to the legendary jail. Fortunately for the sterile floor, if not the three alicorns, Tartarus happens to keep a large supply of extra-thick absorbant undergarments for its denizens...

I presumed to not do this at first, since I still feel uncomfortable writing potentially funny stories, but I might get to it on the morrow. Either way, I do intend to let the 1000 years Luna was banished to the moon play heavily into the story. So it's going to be a tale of budget cuts, PR, and Celestia having weird ideas how hell should function. Many thanks for granting me this insight into insanity, Darkentrophy. I hope I won't dissappoint.

It turns out there is a price to pay for use of the Rainbow Power. The intense energy flow results in some temporary problems with nerves and muscles.

This normally would be no problem, except that when the nerves and muscles affected are those responsible for one's continence.

I didn't think much about this, I have to admit. Maybe I'll do something where in a twist of irony, everypony gets some ironic disability, or everyone gets stuck in diapers and they have to figure out how to hide it, but love and tolerate the sh*t out of their incontinence in the end. Idk, but something good might occur to me even if I don't get hammered this weekend. Anyway, I'll be sure to do this within the month, Carpinus Caroliniana (I like this more than Velkaden, actually. It's an awesome nickname. Not as much as mine though).

In other news:

Sleepovers And Such
The chapter is giving me some troubles. I think it's just my nature that I really want to write my characters angsting about everything. Fighting that is hard, especially since I want to come up with a viable conflict and not go into an unbelievable direction. Once I find an ideal way, posting will get underway again.

The Nightbook
I'm currently not writing this. Too many things are wrong with this story as of this moment, and I'm not even speaking technicalities, but the entire plot is just *Eat Some Apples*. Eh, maybe I'll get back to it one day, maybe not. I don't know, depends on my muse, really.

Last but not least, I've got my other one-shot project
My Baby Sister
As promised, I fixed the description to something more useful, and found somebody willing to edit this thingy-thing. I'll finish writing the second of eight scenes today, then try to get on this on a more steady schedule. It'll be awesome.
Have the description for now:

Equestria was destroyed by an unknown force. The realm is left a shattered husk of what it once was, without either the princesses to aid the survivors or the Elements of Harmony to protect them. What creatures remain are deformed and driven to madness by the cataclysm that extinguished their home. Except two sisters who remember better days.

Applejack tries to cope with what has happened by babying the sickly Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom tries to cope with what has happened by letting herself be babied by her sister. Both struggle to survive, and each their survival depends entirely on the other.

:yay: I was helpful!

After rereading the prompt you're using, it somewhat feels like a mix of Puppeteer and Rugrats. Though if I were to ever write a Padded fic I would probably go with the a similar theme of childhood. Now that I think about that, I am planning to do that in my sliders-esque au fic. If I ever get to writing the prologue that is?:twilightblush:

I'm looking forward to whatever you decide to make ^_^

2204449 Actually, I was inspired by Child Of Light, but either way, I think it's a good way to go about it. There's so many common story builds, why not think outside the box for a bit. Opens up all sorts of opportunities.

Starting to write is one of the hardest things to do, in my opinion. But once it flows, it usually does. :pinkiehappy:

2204508 Well, then you'll certainly be disappointed. :trollestia: No, but seriously, I've started working on it, so I should get it done before 2016.

Wait, that's not a good estimate. :unsuresweetie:

Fingers cross for a speedier delivery :P

I can agree with that. When I do actually sit down and write I can manage almost 1,000 words an hour. When I actually start writing at least.
