I’m actually curious about the mind set of people who choose to identify themselves as Pegasi ponies, Unicorn ponies, Alicorn ponies, or Earth ponies.
My impression of pegasi bronies: feeling trapped, feeling bossed around, wanting to run more than confront.
I consider myself an Earth pony, so what does that say about me?
Those of you who are unicorns, why do you want to be a unicorn? Gaining a sense of significance?

2182861 Yeah, but what are you (as a human) trying to escape or gain by thinking of yourself as a unicorn? Is it a power trip? Is it confidence at a skill? Is it higher social standing?
And what do you think of people who consider themselves alicorns or any other type of pony?
Never really thought of what i would be unicorn i guess use what little talent i may or may not have in magic to hide cripplingly low self esteem kind of like fannon Trixie or maybe just use it to sequester my self away and study something worth doing get me a wizard tower

2182982 Hmmm... I've been getting little bits of evidence here and there that people with unicorn personas have self esteem issues. But if that's true, what about being a unicorn fixes that?
2183033 mostly the ability to hide behind a grandiose mask be it one of a showman or a military leader find a role you can act out well and hold on to it for dear life cause its all you got and the use of magic helps with that

Honestly. I would say i ussed to feel like a changeling. a outcast. Now i feel more like a pegasi. Too me it feels like you can do anything. and let me tell you i love it
I think what appeals to me about being an earth pony is that I'm free to disappear into the background. I'm not going to be forced to do anything because there are already better people suited for the role. I'm free to be left alone.

I like to look at life positively. Like when i failed ten tors and got a helo ride i focused on that instead of the failure.
