At long last, here it be. After years (literally) of collaboration, DarkShockBro and I have produced a new story which serves largely as the sequel to his own story about Diamond Tiara, A Diamond in the Rough. Now, Diamond and co. are all grown up and ready to go new places and try new things. And, befitting the collaborative nature of this fiction, there are two stars, as you will soon see. However, we are currently in the process of procuring cover art for this story, which DarkShockBro has detailed in his blog here. Once we have the art, he will kick off with chapter 1, and from there we'll alternate posting even and odd numbered chapters.
To give you a little taste of what is to come and elaborate on what ShockBro said in his blog, I will say that yes, the first and shortest arc is done. Even in this beginning, you'll be meeting lots of new characters, including more of Diamond's friends and family, and you'll see how the best of them deal with the world crashing down around them. But don't worry, there will be plenty of world left for the rest of this tale... plenty.
That said, it was a pleasure writing this story, and I hope it's as much a pleasure to you when you read it. DarkShockBro and I are always ready to improve on what we already have, so your future criticism is welcome.
