The tall Cloaked figure responded, recieving a round of gasps from the two rulers and mares in the room, the guards merely shook there head in disbilief. "We knew that your daedra worship has been spreading quickly amongst the citizens of equis, but the minitores? they openly oposed its spred not but a week ago!"Luna exclaimed.
"Well, then somthing must have changed their opinion..." The slightly shorter broher said, clad in white and gold plated daedric armor, with the sun emblazened on his cloak, his geen eyes gleaming with uncertanty.
" I agree, something must-" Celestia cut off, her ears perked up. She looked at Rumor, in his red and black daedric armor emblazened with the crimson moon, looking distant before snapping back returning her gaze. " So you felt it too?'

"Your not helping...like...at all..." he stated bluntly as he tore though the library looking through any possible answers as he read hundreds of books at once levitating them all into and out of his hand all in the blink of an eye.
"I know...Its just adorable watching you try to save the world! Dread giggled as she laid down on his lap, causing him to pause momentarily and look down at her before returning to his search.

Syndicate said with an air of determination, but that feeling quickly left as he saw somthing temporarily blot out the sun, a dark figure, trailing a massive multicolored arura who's power seemed unfathemable, even to him. Syndicate pointed the quickly approaching specter out to Archaneon, as it withdrew a massive sythe that obviouly said he was compensating for something, bringing it down in an arc above his head, racing towards the three of them.
2171234 Archaneon redrew his blade holding it with the flat side towards the dark figure, effectively blocking the attack. In that moment, Archaneon's hair flew back, showing off both of his eyes.
2171248 Dread rebounded off the flat side of Arc's blade in a flare of sparks as it fell to its weiders side as he drew a long straight edged 5ft long katana from its slightly shorter sheath, emitting an errie ghostly ring as it was fully drawn in front of the mage, Rumors signature jackolantern grin glowing fircely across his black mask. He was surprised, any mortal stallion would have been crushed under the assualt, thats if they were even able to block it.
2171330 Archaneon's right eye began to glow green as purple smoke rolled out of it, while his left eye began to glow a blinding white. Archaneon's shadow, as well as every shadow that belonged to the anthropomorphic ponies, began to rise off the ground and surround him, forming into multiple shadow tendrils. His sword began glowing white before being surrounded in flames. The flames were obviously daedric magic, while the glowing from the sword and the shadows were obviously magic honed by Starswirl the Bearded and King Sombra. The important thing is that he was using magic... And he's an earth pony.
2171363 Rumor merely laughed at the display before him, a black shadowly hand reached up from the ground and grasped the blade, sliding across its edge, and slowly snuffing out the flames and shadow tat previously encased it, before being directly absorbed by Rumor himself."Nice,trick but I'm not impressed..."
2174074 Suddenly, a scream was heard from behind Archaneon. A royal guard from Rumors demension was attempting to pull Moonshadow away from Syndicate. He was currently pulling her away by her jade colored mane, while Syndicate was being blocked off by a dozen guards with spears. "Shadow!" Archaneon called, turning his back to Rumor.
2171363 Rumor was about to go on about how any mage with enough sense to read could have replicated what Archaneon had done, he took notice of a trembling mare gripping onto a strikingly familiar stallion, she was obviously a batpony, that much was for sure, but the fact that she shimmered the color of moonstone captivated him as he lowered Zakat, he took in her eyes, and her unusual mane and tail.
He let go of the scythe allowing it to turn back into the black and pink mare, Dread, wearing a tight pink shirt, that stopped just above her stomach, and black skinny jeans with her name stiched in pink thread across her back pocket.
In his other hand he let go of Zakat, allowing the dark sword to reshape itself behind him taking the exact shape and outling of Rumor, only pitch black, with Rumor's original mask instead of the one everyone knows now.
Rumor, now weapons free, bowed before Archaneon, then to Moonshadow and Syndicate. "Apologies...I didn't know I was in the presence of a mare, other wise...i might have advanceed a bit more...cautiously." Rumor said, removing his mask and hood, shaking his back length hair free and smiling, all previous hostility gone.
2174187 Moonshadow, now having been released by the guard, ran and tackled Syndicate in a hug full force, which in actuality, was only strong enough to alert him off her presence. She buried her face into his chest as tears ran down her face.
2174201 with the guards spears lowered, Syndicate embraced, the crying mare tightly, wondering why she ran to him and not Archaneon, but put it aside and squeezed her to let her know that she would be okay.
Rumor approached the guards punching each and every one of them in the gut, causing them to double over in pain.
"Never do you act like that in a situation unless I deem it neccesary!" He said in a cold tone, while he is serious about the protection of his realm, never would he allow harm to befall another in his presence. Especially if it was he who had been in the wrong to start with.
2174201 "are you okay...Shadow?" Syndicate asked uncertainly. he wasn't sure if it was okay for him to call her that, seeing as nicknames were only a right resered for close friends.

2174263 Syndicate sighed "Yeah,in all honesty...me too, I mean, we were all about to go to the market and then this happens? Its almost as if those market ponies don't want me to get their sweet deals..." he said, chuckling at that last part.

Pinkie walked up to Syndicate with worry and concern, gleaming in her eyes, and with that look she was instantly pulled into the embrace along with Moonshadow.
2174339 Archaneon, at the mention of Rainbow's name, felt like a cannonball had struck him in the chest. He was having trouble breathing and he was having an inner debate with himself. 'Rainbow Dash? Here? Alive?' 'No you fool. That is not our Rainbow Dash.' 'What does it matter? This Pegasus is still Rainbow Dash. This Rainbow Dash is still alive. We can still have a life with her.' 'But he doesn't love her the same way he did our Rainbow. It's not the same.' The voices in his head continued to debate, leaving him lost in his daze. "Rainbow Dash?" Archaneon muttered to quietly for anyone to hear.
2174339 The dark figure standing above the castle saw the seen unfolding before his eyes (or at least, the only visible one) and frowned slightly. "This is not going to end well for the young archmage. This could very well derail my plans. Perhaps I should intervene. But then again, perhaps it would be better to remain hidden and see how things play out." he said silently to himself.
2174421 Rainbow dash flys right up to Arc, getting in his face. "Hey! who do you think you are?! Acting like your all powerful trying to intimidate my friend, why I otta beat the hay out of you for that!" she shouted noless than three inches away from his face before being dragged away by Rumor himself, where he then held her and petted her mane to calm her down. Rumor opened his mouth to apologize on her behalf but closed it, he found it amusing that even against a much more powerful opponent, she could keep her upbeat, confident personality in check.
2177404 Archaneon took a few steps back, fear evident in his eyes as they remained locked on the blue pegasus now being held by Rumor. "No. I-it's not possible. You can't be here." Archaneon stuttered out, suddenly having his breath caught in his throat.

But alas, he could tell what was about to happen was set in stone and that he ould do nothing to stop him,as he saw his brother become shadow. Syndicate felt pinkie grip her nightengale blade tightly in her hand,but he moved his hand over hers, catching her eye.

2177496 Gorge awoke under a mountain of sand, slowly he forced his way up, rising to his feet only to be met with the group standing before him, he put a finger to his comm, getting an endless stream of reports from echo team, saying that they were in a dark place, full of some sort of smoke, and that they were fine, albeit, they weren't taking their helmets off anytime soon. with his teams saftey garenteed...for now, he approached the group, with his rifle gripped tightly in his hands.
he understood what he saw, ponies from equestria, and ...apparently, their anthropormorphic counter parts, this much he understood, but what confused him was. "WHY THE HELL IS PASTEL PONY SHIT AROUND ME!?" he felt himself snap, unable to hold it in, and quickly hitting himself, normally, no one would have heard that, BUT...he forgot to turn the helmets loud speaker of during the sandstorm....

When Archaneon put himself back together, he found himself in Rarity's boutique. "Great, the last place I wanted to be. But, this could work."

Rumor spun around to the familiar russian accent,"Gorge!"Rumor called sounding like a kid again as he saw his former mentor, he ran to the only being he ever called master and lifted him off the ground in a bone crushing hug.
"Its...good...to s-see you,too, son" the older ranger greeted barely able to breath.
"Oh, sorry about that"Rumor said dropping his foster dad and dusting him off, before quickly regainng his composure.
2177594 "Does Arc really miss Rainbow that much?" she asked, just loud enough for everyone to on hear.

Rumor and Gorge returned to the group with said lunar godess aproaching them, along with miss sun butt, and her four legged sun butt counterpart.
2177652 Smiling, the figure let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. "That turned out better then I hoped. And it seems the Shade will save me the trouble of resurecting Rainbow."
Moonshadow, feeling a bit of courage, ran up to Rumor, only coming up his chest. She looked him dead in the eyes with her own yellow and sapphire ones.

"Ah, so thats who that strikingly handsome stallion is over there, I'll bet he is a shade to, yeah?" he asked her as Syndicate reached them, sliding the axe into a half scabbard on his back shaped to the axe.
2180593 Shadow nodded before blushing slightly. "I'm sorry. You have me your name but I didn't give mine. I'm Moonshadow." she said in a way similar to Fluttershy. She then proceeded to run back to Syndicate and hug his arm, smiling up at him.
