Goals for my life on fimfiction · 11:24pm May 21st, 2014
So I've decided that, now that I am officially done with high school, I'm going to try to devote more time to writing. But, since I'm awful at motivating myself, I'm making a list of goals that I want to do. I'll update this with new goals and check off the ones I've done, so the goals list will be a 'living document' sort of. Feel free to suggest goals for me to attempt and I'll add them to the list.

Hm... Milestones for story views and followers are pretty common goals. I learned during the course of writing 'Miss Sparkle' that faves mean a lot less than you'd think, though, at least when it comes to multi-chapter fics. A lot of readers will fave a story they're tracking for no other reason than to keep a better eye on it, since adding it to the Read Later list doesn't mean you'll be notified when a new chapter is added. Likewise, I'm not the only one here who has lost their faith in the feature box. Getting featured might earn you some popularity, but likes and comments are better indicators of quality.
Oh hey! 'The Life of a Flightless Filly' made it to the popular box! Congratulations, Master.
