Fanfic writers and the Changeling battle · 12:12am May 9th, 2014
Maybe it's inappropriate to make my first, and maybe last, blog post to be a complaint but I've seen a couple of prolific authors these days writing stories with variations of the changeling battle from season 2's finale. They have one thing in common.
The authors just won't END them! It just feels so tedious, stretching them out. All that builds is frustration. Instead of being an epic battle it just becomes a slog.
If you want fanfiction done to your exact tastes and specifications, write your own.

Reviews don't just consist of telling people, "This story didn't do what I wanted to do, thus it sucks," though. They're actually a process whereby you weigh the pluses and the negatives against each other.
4040526 do you harass everyone who leaves you a negative review? I'm perfectly happy to both block you and report you to the moderators. and just so you know, I didn't say the story was bad, I said I disliked it. I don't feel you did enough in story to justify the changes you made
That's not an invalid point. Pacing is something that can be difficult and people tend to link "epic" and "long" together like they're perfect matches.
