The Strangest Story I Have Ever Written · 9:46pm May 26th, 2012
The strangest story I have ever written is fittingly called, "The Strangest Story". It is called this because it is probably the strangest story you will ever read. It hopefully be the strangest story I will ever write. It is really strange, weird, random, and stupid. It is also my first try at a "romantic" story, but it is more of an awkward story. I also use the word awkward in it way too much. Here are some stats about the words I use in the story:
Awkward (not counting variations): 5%
You : 9%
It is a really strange and stupid story. And that's coming from me. I have written a story about an island coming to life and only have one eye because there is only one 'i' in 'island'. Of couse that was in 2nd grade but still. It is weird and stupid.
But the weirdest part about it is how it's written. it is written in the strangest point of view and tense I could think of. Second person omniscient future tense. "The second-person narrative is a narrative mode in which the protagonist or another main character is referred to by employment of second-person personal pronouns and other kinds of addressing forms, for example the English second-person pronoun 'you'." - Wikipedia. Omniscient is when the narrator knows everything about everyone. And future tense is saying what will happen in the future. Not all of it is in future tense, but the majority of it is.
Just imagine how weird that is. The majority of the sentences start out with "You will...". That is just weird. Oh well. It's done. I'm done. I'm never going to write like that again. It is just too weird.
