Being a fan · 5:17pm May 5th, 2014
Good Morning, all!
For starters, let's get some basics out of the way. My name is Beau. I currently live in Sumner, WA. I have a lovely fiancee and I have a very energetic dog who I wouldn't trade for anything. I'm an electrician, and I love my job. I roleplay on occasion(D&D, Pathfinder, SAS), and enjoy a lot of geeky things.
Obviously, I am a huge fan of My Little Pony. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here, right?
But what does being a fan mean? Sure I like the show. I think the characters are well developed. The world building is phenomenal. The plot is excellent, albeit slightly rushed in its conclusions. The humor is nice and clean, which is a vastly different experience from what my usual comedic fare entails.
However, I sometimes feel that I might be too much of a fan. No, I don't fantasize about living in Equestria. Clop really isn't my thing, but I have no moral qualms about it. But I can't help but bring it up in most conversations I have. I even have several different craft projects that involve MLP in some aspect or another.
When is it too much?
That's what I want to know from everyone. When do you think you become too much of a fan, and is there even such a thing?
Let me know in the comments.
Thanks,
Thak
I'd put that line down right around the point where someone redecorated their house to be a perfect replica of a character's house before dressing up like them. Bonus points if they get their family, friends, or pets involved.

Not the pets! That would be pretty bad though. My wife would kill me.
