"The common man or woman, whether they are Israeli or Palestinian, Protestant or Catholic or Iraqi or American, the common man just wants to live in peace and justice in a clean environment. When we look around the world and we see that is not the case, we know the will of the majority is not being listened to, that's the first sign that our system is broken"
~Woody Harrelson Ethos. The Documentary.
Something I find most unsettling is the fact that many of the people on this site do not represent what humans really are. Hate and violence is unnatural and only represents a tiny minority of human beings. Ask people who travel and they will tell you that the common man is kind and welcoming, no matter where you go.
Our fandom is good example of this. Our majority are kind accepting and warm people, yet our minority are not. They call themselves bronies, yet they do not uphold the morals that most of us do. They antagonize people in some futile attempt at self worth, and as a result are the loudest. they do not represent us, just as the media coverage and history of human conflict does not. Just step out side into nature and see how damn quiet it is, and then you will see the nature of our existence. We are SO tiny and in consequential to the universe on our own, yet our experience is so vast and amazing.
The truth is we are a reflection of the world as the world is reflection of us, and therefore what is real is relative. Ergo "one mans trash is another mans treasure" or "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". We have the choice as to what matters and what does not, for we are the architects of ourselves and the world around us.
No man is lesser or greater than another, they are merely different.
Love yourself, love your fellow man, and love the world, because where love and friendship resides life is truly magical.
No man is real except for me and the consequences to my actions reverberate across the universe if I simply choose to believe that they do.
Everything depends on your own beliefs, nothing more, nothing less. If I believe it to be fact, then it is! If I believe that it has no effect towards me, then it doesn't!
This is me, random jibber jabber man.
