First what is nature?
Well nature has a variety of definitions;
1. the inherent character or basic constitution of a person or thing
2. a creative and controlling force in the universe
3. a kind or class usually distinguished by fundamental or essential characteristics
4. the physical constitution or drives of an organism
So as it stands nature is what is the most fundamental. From space to shapes.

Second what is a fractal?
A fractal is a mathematical set that typically displays self-similar patterns. Fractals may be exactly the same at every scale, or, as illustrated in they may be nearly the same at different scales. The concept of fractal extends beyond self-similarity and includes the idea of a detailed pattern repeating itself.

No matter how larger or small you get it always repeats. It is infinite in both measure and complexity.

I like to think "what if the universe is just one big fractal calculation that is generating through not only space, but time." A fractal on its own can not make sense of its information patterns until given a path or perception to follow. until someone comes along and makes a choice it is merely information that repeats in a pattern. This behavior is synonymous with with the fundamental principle of quantum mechanics. That nothing in the universe can take form without awareness. that when one becomes aware of something, its "quantum waveform", it's pattern of probabilities, it will then collapse into its preconceived structure, preconceived by said observer.
So imagine zooming into the Mandelbrot set like a needle and thread. The needle is you and the thread is where you have been. Each choice and destination is marked by the thread unique based on said choices. so then say that the thread represents someones life time and the choices they made. Their choices effected the environment conditions and patterns that turned up in their life. now what if every event is like a thread going down every possible place in the fractal. That thread would then account for the pattern chosen when the collapse occurs creating a "quantum field" to shape and form that "thread" or wave form energy. Into a rock , a chair, or a galaxy. This is the basis of all ancient practices of alchemy and sorcery and is part of what I will be using to explain what magic is, as manipulation of the quantum field.
