My little pony and Universal geometry Pt.1

I have been studying universal geometric patterns for five years now, and when I came across My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic I found a serious correlation between My Little Pony's “elements of harmony” and fundamental universal geometry.
Firstly the related shapes are the Platonic solids, basic shapes of Universal Geometry, that are five three-dimensional geometric forms of which all faces are alike, as well as each point touching the inside of a sphere. The platonic solids were the basis for early alchemical and mathematical principles, by representing the five elements..
1.) Dodecahedron -Ether
2.) Tetrahedron -Fire
3.) Octahedron -Air
4.) Icosahedron -Water
5.) Hexahedron -Earth
Of the 5 solids, the tetrahedron has the smallest volume for its surface area and the icosahedron the largest; they therefore show the properties of dryness and wetness respectively and so correspond to FIRE and WATER. The cube, standing firmly on its base, corresponds to the stable EARTH but the octahedron which rotates freely when held by two opposite vertices, corresponds to the mobile AIR. The dodecahedron corresponds to the UNIVERSE because the zodiac has 12 signs (the constellations of stars that the sun passes through in the course of one year) corresponding to the 12 faces of the dodecahedron.

2.) Tetrahedron –Fire/Loyalty
3.) Octahedron -Air /Kindness
4.) Icosahedron –Water/Generosity
5.) Hexahedron –Earth/Honesty

Now I believe that each element in the show directly correlates to these Platonic solids. I will go through consecutively and explain exactly why they do in the order above.

1.) Dodecahedron/Ether/Laughter

Dodecahedron represents Ether; the energy within all things as well as higher dimensions. There are many other names for it; Life force, chi, chakra…ect…
But why specifically does it also stand for laughter?

Well we must taking into account not only the effect laughter has on people, but also the role and personality Pinkie Pie has in the show has in the show.
First off, as in the show, life would be quite dreary without laughter in our lives. Not only does it make us feel better and fill us with energy to get a good laugher, it has also been shown to be important to our overall health.
Also, look at pinkie pie. She is the poster pony of hyperactivity and very often will break the fourth wall. I.E “higher dimensions”.

2.) Tetrahedron/Fire/Loyalty

Now obviously Rainbow Dash would be fire. Who else but Rainbow Dash burns with the passion and determination to be a Wonderbolt? As well on the show loyalty acts much like fire, fueled by our care and passion for whatever it may be that drives us.

3.) Octahedron/Air/Kindness

Much like Fluttershy air is graceful and gentle, yet can strike with great tenacity when challenged. When a challenge presents itself air much like kindness does not topple its enemy or act with force, It flows around its obstacles with minimal conflict.

4.) Icosahedron/Water/ Generosity

Probably the most generous force on the planet is our water. Rarity is a problem solver in essence, her creativity is like many artists, fighting the eternal futile battle to somehow fit the universe in a sentence, photo, canvas…ect. Much like creativity water perseveres, wears away and moves around anything that gets in its way. And sometimes to her characters detriment she uses that to her advantage.

5.)Hexahedron(Cube)/Earth/Honesty


Practical, dependable, stubborn and honest. All words which describe AppleJack perfectly. And like her, a cube represents the most practical and easily replicable way of using space efficiently and constructing dependable foundations. She is defiantly the rock of the mane six.

What about Twilight? Doesn't her Element have a geometric shape?

Also, I think that it's funny that there's an episode called "Hurricane Fluttershy." It corresponds pretty well to what you're saying here.

2070505 it does say part one for a reason. twilight's element is far more complicated. Part 2 will go into what magic is and how these shapes/frequency's/elements can serve to be the sort of key to magic/quantum manipulation.
