    It's been a while

Howdy! So, it's been a while, huh? Well, I feel I should apologize for leaving, but instead of doing that I'll just skip to the meat of this blog post.

I think I'm done here (if you haven't guessed)

Yeah, it's like the title says. The show means nothing to me anymore except the first two seasons. Every time I write I immediately hate everything I've done and delete it. I get no joy or excitement starting or building up a story any more. And besides that, I just don't have the time or ability to write any more long stories like I want to.

I need your help (no seriously, I'm looking to you for advice)

So everybody remembers this post, right? Well, that's why I was unable to update last weekend. I got so into the story that I wrote for nearly two days without pause (except for mandatory bathroom and porn breaks) and got a good chunk of it done.

    An Idea In My BRAINS!!!!!!

I was struck in the face with a stiff rod of pure inspiration! The idea for a new thing! That I write! WITH WORDS!!!!
I will begin this very moment! (Well, as soon as I find fitting music...)
Don't worry, the next chapter for GMvE is getting pushed through its final edit, so that should be up soon too.

The Truth? · 1:26am Apr 16th, 2014

Going to Equestria, as I am, in reality, is both my grandest wish and my greatest fear. Untold joy and unbridled happiness could await me there, or, equally likely, heart ache beyond compare and shattering, crushing sorrow and hate.
My dreams of abandon and freedoms untold tempt to to the edge of my sanity.
My terrors of fear and distrust, of finding something... untrue, to my beliefs and expectations haunt my nights.
Not fear for me, but of me.
I fear not the rejection or loathing of others; I fear not that which could harm my body, mind or spirit; I fear not those who would wish me ill because of what or who I am.
I fear the sideways glances of the village elders; I fear the fabrications of the over-imaginative minds of children; I fear the false smiles, and the hollow words, and the empty kindness only offered in token.
The whispered word is more deadly than any blade, and as every rumor, tale, and hushed conversation meets the ear of another, so spreads the darkness of the shadow that poisons the minds of the ignorant.
Where no truth is to be had, the minds of others will create one.
Where only guesswork, and speculations are to be had, false, and often times exaggerated, conclusions will be made.
When one lets the mind of another think for them, they believe in their heart of hearts that what they don't know, but others are so seemingly sure of must be true. This is true not only as Humans, but as sentient life as a whole.
To a herd animal, prey by nature, a Human must undoubtedly seem a terrifying and intimidating concept. Taller than their largest, stronger than their most capable, smarter than their brightest, and by nature and instinct a predator; a killer.
To a pony, barely four feet in height ranging taller than most, Humans are beastly behemoths; always hungry for fresh meat, always swearing as wanton as we please, so easily corrupted by the perverseness and impurities of those around us; we see a child, starving on the street and barely spare a glance; we see the destruction of our own race, the death of innocence and the taint of our own greed strangling the life from our world, and we merely laugh, uncaring as a beast looks upon its prey.
Humans and the beautiful race of Ponies we have come to love and cherish in our hearts should never, can, never, be allowed to mix. As the tainted beings we are, we would only corrupt them in our desperation to love them. I, you, we, would only destroy them from the inside should our two very different worlds meet.
If you don't believe me, ask yourself these questions:
Would our government simply let the concept of "magic" slip through their fingers should the Ponies decide they don't want a race of warmongering, shortsighted fools to harness is?
Should the pony you had your heart set on fall in love with another, ignoring you completely, could you look upon the couple with the same innocent joy you had previously, when they were only a fictional being in our world?
Could you honestly bring the ideals and concepts of war in to Equestria and not feel any kind of guilt or regret in the slightest?
If you saw somebody, or, somepony, rather, suffering in silence, crying with no one to listen to them, what would you honestly do? Now, think to yourself what you would do if you saw the same scenario playing out in our world; what would you honestly do if you saw a stranger crying all alone as you went about your daily business. Finally, what would any of the ponies we've come to know and love do should they find somebody crying to themselves in either world?
Should you answer any of these questions without the slightest feeling of remorse, and as soon as you read them, maybe I'm wrong about the Human race. Maybe... I'm wrong, and should worst come to worst, it would all work out in the end.
But one final question before I go. If you think everybody that had access to their world--not just Bronies, but everybody... could you honestly say that you would have absolutely no apprehension, no worry, no second thoughts about them being free to roam in Equestria?
Really think about that, and when every answer you thought of at first glance turns to one, read this question again and think of whether your answer is true. Honestly true.
