What do you want to see?

I want to get more active here, but I'm not entirely sure what you guys want to see. The strawpoll linked below will help me get an idea of what stories deserve what update frequencies.

Stories on hiatus, updates will be sparse.

Okay, let's not beat around the bush: I'm updating really slow due to writer's block, lack of motivation, and lack of time that I can devote to writing these stories. My problem is that I have great ideas but never take the time to plan things out, preferring to stick to events that will happen in the story. None of these stories that you all know and love are ending, and I will continue to

Attuned File Report #2: The Hyperhealer (also known as the Juggernaut)

This is a caution to ALL units: There have been reports of a Hyperhealer in the Canterlot area. If you see a pony who matches the description of an excessive amount of scars and mismatched legs that vary in length and color, call a Specialist IMMEDIATELY and DO NOT engage.

Attuned File Report #1: The Mirrorwalker

This report is being sent out to inform the soldiers about one of the most common Attuned types we’ve encountered: The Mirrorwalker.
These Attuned have the ability to enter a pocket dimension via a mirror wherein they can easily access other mirrors, making them perfect for hit-and-run Tune thefts.

    Attuned File Report: Intro

As you very well know soldier, ponies with a rare genetic disorder have sprung up in the midst of the discovery of Tune. This disorder, commonly referred to as "Attuned" refers to them having unmatched abilities powered by the mechanical element, Tune. It's your job to round up these "Attuned" and either send them to a correctional facility, where their abilities will be used for Equestria's

Building Kingshaven · 5:51pm Apr 13th, 2014

This is a blog post where I will be building a fictional mega city/country in my main story. This will be updated as I have the ideas, and you all are welcome to write stories in this country as long as you ask me first, give credit where credit is due and keep to my rules (and send me a link to your story). If you guys have any ideas, swing them by me and I'll see if I like them.

Kingshaven is divided between three districts. The Craftsmen, who create everything from weapons to clothing to food, The Engineers, who create machines beyond what Equestria has ever seen, and The Scholars, who create art and music, and is the district where most of the schools are located.
They believe in five spirits, who are in reality the five leaders of the village that left Equestria to make a new land, see History. The priests of the five spirits are mostly located in the temple, and it is recommended that all changelings who choose to live in Kingshaven make their way to the temple until they have a sufficient amount of friends to sustain themselves.

The line of the king of kingshaven is known as the Storm Family, the current heir being Firestorm, who as of right now, refuses the throne in order to serve Equestria as one of its guardians.

History:
There is two sides to the history of Kingshaven. One being the Equestrian side, and the other being the Kingshaven side.
The Equestrian story:
during the original reign of Discord, his capital was placed in a town that he deemed worthy because of the diversity of its inhabitants. Ponies, gryphons, and other creatures walked the streets on a casual and daily basis, going about their daily lives in whatever could be considered peace back then. After Discord was banished and sealed away, the village still declared loyalty to him, so they decided to create an artifact and rise in rebellion. These traitors were pushed into the Everfree forest, where they were left to their own devices, eventually resulting in the creation of a new country. The artifact is known as the Traitor's Crown, and rests in Canterlot museum, recovered by Forest Striker. Nobody dares to wear it, so we don't know what it does.

The Kingshaven Side:
Back before Celestia and Luna ruled Equestria, it was under the rule of Discord. The spirit of chaos smiled on our village, because we had more than just ponies living there. Ponies, gryphons, all sorts of creatures lived out their day to day lives. But then Celestia and Luna came along and banished Discord to a stony prison. All at once, everything seemed to go wrong. It rained very little, no matter what the pegasi did. The ground dried up, making for very scarce crops. We fell into poverty, begging our new leaders for help. No answer ever came, so our leader devised a plan to get their attention. He gathered the rarest and most magically charged gemstones and metals, fashioned it into a crown, and had the most powerful unicorns in the village place powerful enchantments on it. When he placed the crown upon his head, he found it accomplished its goal: it had so much power packed into it, it had given the leader alicorn status. Two days passed before we had discovered that we had gained the attention of Celestia, but it was not what we desired. Guards swarmed our village, burning it to the ground and killing or capturing anyone who didn't run. We were forced into the Everfree forest, where we decided to abandon Equestria and search for a new land. The leader of this village had four friends who advised him. The wisest, found the Everfree forest fascinating, and chose to spend the rest of his days there. Two of these four were twins. The youngest, who was generous and hospitable, thought it would be best if they went over a large mountain that barred their path. The older, who was experienced in medicine, thought the cave would be safer, and the youngest set out alone over the mountain, dying from the cold. The older brother met his fate saving the rest of the village from the changeling swarm that lived in the cave. The strongest of the five met his fate in a volcanic wasteland, in combat with the one of the only foes you can't fight: air itself. The king however, made it through the desert that lied beyond, and with the help of the village, built the city of Kingshaven, which almost immediately declared its independence from any country who would try to enforce their laws upon it. After the king died, the crown was placed on a statue of himself in what is now the The Tomb of the Kings, where every king since him has since been buried and where the crown sits to this very day. After the king was delivered to his final resting place, twelve of his guards, of their own free will, drank a poison and sealed themselves in the tomb with the king, singing what is now known as the Immortal Chant, as the song decorates the hall even to this day. And so the tradition stands that when the king dies, twelve volunteers drink the very same type of poison and seal themselves with the king, adding their voices to the Endless Choir.
-Firestorm, heir to the throne of Kingshaven

Kingshaven does not have a "death sentence" instead, the worst punishment a citizen can receive is a tattoo called the Thieve's Brand. A Brand cannot buy or sell things, has most of their possessions taken away, and is pretty much reduced to living on the streets, begging for food and shelter. A Brand can choose to leave the city without any form of paperwork, if they think they can face the Five Wastes (the only way in and out of Kingshaven safely is by a special train designed by the Engineering District)

The Scholar District is where all the political buildings lie, as well as the temple. There's a lot of gardens, making it a common place for citizens to take their breaks and days off. The buildings are mostly white, and range from open in the town square, to narrow alleyways in some places. A river flows through the entire district from a central fountain located in the center of the district.
The Craftsmen District is where the builders and makers live. A river of liquid metal flows from the Central Forge, and the buildings range in color and type based on what they are.
The Engineering District can only be explained as... steampunk... I guess. Probably the least developed in my head of the districts, mainly because I haven't yet.

The last time the crown was taken from its resting place was over a hundred years ago, during what's known in Kingshaven as "The Independence War" the king at the time was a pegasus by the name of Bladestorm, and the war started after the train line between Kingshaven and Equestria was finished. Guards took over a series of trains and invaded Kingshaven, causing a state of emergency.

The engineers have created a hyper powerful rifle known as the Kingshaven Rifle. Rather than an explosion, it sounds like a ringing of metal is modifiable as well as it has an amazing amount of force. The engineers made a special type of gunpowder called hexpowder, which enhances the effects the crystals in the barrel transfer to the bullet.
