24 almost 25 here and I do enjoy the fics. I watched a few episodes but most of my time is spent working,playing video games and readings fics so there's not much time to watch anything really.
Majority of the people I know call me childish and tell me to grow up. For the past 5years.
The problem with you leaving because of the pressure of the few people is that no one enjoys everything. Some adults consider certain things childish, are you going to quit every time someone points it out?
Lets take video games for example. Despite how popular it is in the adult community, majority still consider it childish behavior or something that is for children. But adult gamers still keep on playing.
There's really nothing wrong with what you watching and you shouldn't be pressured into quitting something you might like. Well with certain exceptions of course. Killing people and stuff that brake the laws (at least in the case where someone else gets hurt) isn't something you should continue doing no matter how much you might enjoy it.
This story better be an April Fool's joke.
