If you're reading this, lol.
I would have thought that some of the stories I favorited two years ago would have been finally finished. Nope. I guess the authors got just as bored with this site as I did. I apparently have 2337 unread chapters atm. I can't even remember the titles of the few that I cared about, since I deleted everything on my user page thing lol. Whatever. If I get bored enough I'll search through and find them someday.
That's why I made heavy use of the "bookshelves": "Read when completed" - everything that sounds promising lands there. "Completed - awaiting reading" - whatever got finished. Also "Incomplete Sagas", whatever claims to be completed but is, say, part 1 of 3, awaiting completion of remaining parts. Then there's the scarce "followed" when I was too tempted and started reading before the story was completed, "Collections" (ongoing sets of one-shots posted as "incomplete", I can pick out any number of chapters at a time and won't be left with cliffhangers), and finally "Bookmarks" (stories I'm mid-way through reading) and Archive + Favorites, stories I read and don't plan to return to, and ones I may revisit in the future.
Oh, and "Clopfics", a separate folder for when the mood strikes.
Oh, one more. "Dead" for any story that spent over a year in "Read when completed" without updates. A kind of hall of shame, broken promises.
