Genetic combinations: Scootaloo (featuring Bacon 96)

The topic we will be discussing today is genetic combinations.
I don't know how to begin this, so take it away Bacon!

Alright, some ponies on the show seem to have certain talents in the areas that their species use. Here are some examples and what we think are the reasons for the talents and failures (or something like that)

Exhibit A: Scootaloo.

Traits: cannot fly very well, but still has a high amount of thrust generated from her wings when flapping (ex:Scooter travel to the crystal empire) and has a high amount of stamina (was able to go all the way to the crystal empire without stopping)
most likely genetic makeup: Earth pony and Pegasus genes. Earth pony genes make it very hard for her to fly, but give high power to the wings. Earth ponies also use their magic internally not like the pegasi and unicorns do. Pegasi use their magic to not only make themselves lighter, but also make an aerodynamic field around themselves that makes them able to fly. The wings also are able to make a magic field that whenever they flap their wings it pushes down in the direction they flap their wings in. Pegasi also have slight internal magic (if they have earth pony genes) that makes their bones stronger so that they do not break easily and withstand high G-forces (ex:SONIC RAINBOOM). the reason that pegasi can stand on clouds and such is because there is magic saturation in the clouds that has one charge to it and the pegasi have a different charge that comes from their hair/fur. this makes it so that they can lay down on clouds and not fall through (not just their hooves because that would be problematic) and it can also be “turned off” so that a pegasus can go through a cloud and not hit the cloud like “brick wall”.

That was more than I expected. I learned some new things from that. Bringing it back to the original argument of Scootaloo being part Earth pony, she had to outrun a train, while carrying two others, and all their equipment, by scooter.
