The Good, the Bad, and the "Please don't hurt me" · 1:04am May 19th, 2012
Good news time, Bad news time, and finally the Ugly news time that I hope you won't harm me for.
Finally finished editing the 2nd chapter of CMA, so now I can move on to working on three other chapters I'm working on. The next chapter of Generosity is being put back into progress, and I am also working on two chapters for two new stories, one which is a self insert (yeah, I said I'd not try another one, I lied) and the other one is another Trixie fic that's going to be called Proving One's Worth. It'll be a story about Trixie joining the Equestrian Army sometime after the events of A Canterlot Wedding.
Now, with this information, its time for some bad news. The bad news is obviously that I don't have an update schedule, so I'll update when I feel like it. So I apologize for anyone wanting to see more updates for things. The other piece of bad news is that the next chapter of Generosity is liable to take a while (expect it by the end of the month or the first week of June)
And finally, the news that may cause some of you to throw bricks or other painful virtual objects at me. If you have not noticed, He Fell From the Sky has been cancelled. I just do not feel any motivation or inspiration for the story. It doesn't help that my attempts to write the next chapter have failed utterly. I have scrapped and restarted the chapter at least ten times (I stopped counting after that) and I just don't think I'm going to be able to do anything with it. Now, this doesn't mean the story is gone for good. Unlike my previous two cancelled stories, I'm leaving this one up and under the cancelled tag. Its possible that at some point, I will end up going back to it and trying to work on it.
Also, the other piece of ugly news...I am not going to make a sequel to One Last Letter. I just feel that it defeats the point of the story that I was aiming for, which was a sad and depressingly evil one shot that had Discord winning. It wasn't supposed to have an ending (or at least, not one written by me). So, as so far as I am concerned, One Last Letter is fine as it is. Now, if someone wants to write a sequel for the story, that's perfectly fine. But I am most certainly not doing it.
Anywho, that's all the news I have for you. So keep on reading and keep on writing (those of you who write anyways).
...... well, time to get the ammo. - gets a bunch of rotten tomatoes -
