Two years in the making!

Hello, FIMFiction.net!

I'm blown away, on a fairly regular basis, by us Bronies and what we accomplish. The sheer volume of quality music, writing, artwork, charity work, and other creative endeavors generated as an outpouring of our love for this show and our fellow human beings completely blows my mind, and I've reached a point where I believe I've taken enough- it's time to give back! =)

For two years now, I've been turning over a notion in the recesses of my mind. In Spring of 2012, I worked up a 30 page draft of this idea, which wasn't ever fully completed, because my main draft ended up getting corrupted. Of course. =P
I lost several weeks of work in reverting to one of my backups. Around this time, due to life's ever increasing complexity, I found that I had far less time to write. The project shifted to the back burner, and there it has remained . . .

Until now.

The time has come once again for me to pick up the digital pen and set it to digital paper. I'm very excited to be revisiting this particular project, as I've always regretted that unfinished draft sitting on my hard drive and wondered what it could have become. Most importantly, I'm excited about the new options presented to me in the last two seasons, and I believe they will help me in my quest to deliver a super freakin' awesome fan fiction that's worthy of your time! =)

Prior to the primary story will be a six-part miniseries, which will serve as a prologue. I'm very excited about this, as it will give me time to reinvigorate my writing muscle, as well as set the stage so I can hit the ground running. Six parts for six ponies- we'll get their perspective on the rising conflict, leading up to the headliner. ^_^

I have yet to conjure a satisfactory title for the story, but the tentative title for the miniseries is, quite simply, "Six". Stay in touch for further updates!
