I saw the Wind Rises yesterday, and it was beautiful. It brought me to honest to God tears. It saddens me considerably that this will most likely be Miyazaki's last feature film, but honestly, he deserves his retirement, and this movie is good enough that it can proudly carry the title of the last Miyazaki movie. The english dubbing wasn't the absolute best, with some actors better at lip-synching than others, but the movie has a huge amount of soul, and makes me feel proud of being an artist and a writer.

Go see it, it's in some theaters still, don't you dare miss your chance to see Miyazaki's last film on the big screen!
