While I was helping my dad clean out the basement, I found a load of stuff from the '80s and '90s (e.g. old VHS cassettes, mixtapes, old magazines, posters, buttons, old clothes, old furnishings such as lamps, chairs, and antique toys, an old computer, an old TV set, etc etc etc)... while this was unfolding, a story of sorts meshed together in my head, and that's where this new fanfic idea comes from.
I won't release a ton of spoilers, but it involves a human immigrant in Equestria courting two mares back-and-forth. There will be sex - however, it will be used sparingly. In place of constant rutting, there will be plenty of tender, sincere, relaxing, and romantic scenes throughout (e.g. bathing, mane brushing, massaging, kissing, gentle touching, cuddling, sleeping together, etc). But don't get me wrong, there's also conflict and tension to drive the story as well as some action (dating, friendly get-togethers, parties, etc) interspersed throughout.
This story isn't set in the present day, however. Rather, it's set back in time a bit (think Neigh Anything), to the mid- to late 1980s and early 1990s... and it's evident through some of the conversations that occur between the characters.
I currently have the prologue and the first chapter outlined and ready to go...
