Some new prospects

Hello all,

Over the last few days, I've been thinking about a new direction for one of my older stories that I placed on hiatus late last year...

When I was writing Ryder's story (which you can read here), I really, really enjoyed the process, especially the challenge of incorporating 80's motifs and encapsulating Equestrian attitudes and society at that time.

Now, obviously, I can't post two different versions of the exact same story, so I may do a MASSIVE overhaul. I would be completely reworking the plot, changing a number of characters (although most would stay exactly the same), and the main character would not be an expat, but a foreign exchange student. The original story was supposed to span all four years of high school, but with the new version, it would only span about one year. I'm not going to be as political with this story as I was with the old one; I figured that would detract and distract from the story as a whole.

I'm looking forward to this and a lot more.
