Hey guys, just want to give you all a little update, so you know I'm not dead. I spent 11 of the last fourteen days preparing for an assessment. I went to the assessment, I did really well...But I still didn't get the job. I really, really wanted this particular job. It would've been ideal for me, since it was close to home and I'd done similar types of work before. It's hard failing, especially when you tried your hardest. It's not a lesson that's easy to learn, that you try your hardest, prepare well in advance and still fail.
As you can imagine, it was very disheartening to hear I wasn't getting the job. I'd already made it through two initial interviews, so you can probably understand how frustrated I was feeling, after doing a third, plus several exercises. I'm going to keep looking for work, but yeah. This is what I've been mainly doing for the last 14 days.
are you going to search for a familiar job around the area again or other kind of job? (sorry to hear that you couldn't get it)
1859931 I'm applying for jobs that are a bit more varied than before. I supplied for three today and tried to apply for a fourth, but the store wouldn't open to let me hand in my CV. Though I can understand that, I think they were doing some kind of training at the time with people they had hired already.
