I'm back online!!
I may have about two hours to work on my projects(by projects I mean my stories) today. That is more then I have had in the last 30 days! I have a lot of work to catch up on.
I'm working on a thesis for school about unicorns(Gee I wonder why I went with that subject) Now the goal of this assignment is show my professors that I can draw unorthodox conclusions and back it up.
So basically pull shit out of my ass, call it gold, show proof of that and how I came to that conclusion.
After a week of reading materials my thesis is going to about how the unicorn could have been a blood thirsty creatures on par with dragons. One factor I found fascinating is that many accounts said that only maidens could quell a unicorn. Now we all know this, but you have to put your mind in the era that this was written to fully grasp these accounts. The 'unorthodox' conclusion that I have gone with is that the unicorn enjoyed devouring or killing maidens because the martial almost always referred to the blood of virgins or maidens. Every were else in mythology (I want to point out that the unicorn was never considered a mythical beast like dragons or harpies. They were considered real creatures just exotic like the African lion) that this same use of virgin's blood showed up in involved the sacrifice of the maiden to the creature or god/spirit/whatever. This is one of the reasons that there was unicorn hunts and many depictions of knights killing unicorns with a young girl near by.
This is going to be fun. (not sarcasm)

You know what's sad? I said something along the lines of that yesterday, and the people I was talking to believed me. When I told them I was joking they were like "You made that up?" and I said "Yea, that and everything about Hungry and Turkey. Do you really think I'd know all that about the sex lives of people in other countries?"
Since I had the brain of a potato for the past month or so, the only words I understood in this entire thing were innuendos I made up from looking at certain words.
I need therapy. XD
