If You Think I'm Bad... · 6:36pm Feb 20th, 2014
I found someone whose writing is WORSE. Check out xblade. Not only is his first story, an attempted clopic, a disaster, but the writer himself can't handle criticism of any kind, will not take suggestions on how he can improve his writing, ACTIVELY searches for comments that don't give him praise and deletes them and blocks those who suggest how he can improve.
So here's the link to said train wreck. The comment section is the only thing worth reading. It should be noted that the story went through a teeny bit of editing. At first, there were NO spaces after punctuation and virtually no line breaks. Other than that, nothing has been changed.
You can't just compare other authors to you just to make yourself feel better. That would make you no better than the other author (may vary).
A critique/pre-reader can never, ever make their judgement based on what his/her relations is with the author. So no matter how bad the writing, as long as the writer understands where to improve, no one is a bad author.
1901257 You're right, but that particular author won't take in the criticism and bashes and blocks those who try to help out and that is what makes a bad author. I just hope he makes a comeback and writes something better than what he did.
Although my wording would indicate otherwise, my intent wasn't to make myself look better than a relatively new author, I just wanted to point out that I take the criticism better, and I'm sure there are a lot of other first time writers who do as well.
Thanks for your input.

The title would be misleading, then.
