Double Rainboom taken down? Really now... · 2:04am Feb 19th, 2014
This about 2 weeks late but whatever.
Okay I fully understand that not everyone liked Zachary Riches fan animation 'Double Rainboom'. I can see why. But don't look at it from a show quality aspect, look at it for what it represented like how it was probably the best fan made thing that's come from any fan base. Anyways I've heard about three different stories on why he took it down and I'm not ready to accept any of them until he actually comes out and explains why he did it. If you go to doublerainboom.com you will get his public message on why he removed it. But I'm not buying it. He seemed as though he was really proud with how it turned out. He was even taking it to conventions and showing it off which is, well, cool. After all the whole thing was meant to be an educational experience for him and for the fans it was mostly for fun. And not mention that the animation, MLP or not, is an amazing thing to actually accomplish and would easily make him look better to hire than someone who just got out of school and had little to no experience. I also feel bad for the number of people who worked on it and might tell someone about it but they may not be able to show that person the full video...unless they had a copy of it.
Oh well. Some people will care and others won't. But one thing is for sure if he's trying to hide it for some reason all I can say is good luck and welcome to the internet.
Someone already re-uploaded it before I could:
And just to be perfectly clear. I really liked DRB I thought it was well done and moderately written.
Ha, Blue.
