Don't attack the show staff. Jeez. · 8:43pm Feb 18th, 2014
(Warning: post may contain strong language.)
For the past few days, I've been noticing some REALLY nasty attacks lobbed at Amy Keating Rogers, including some very blunt ones like, "Fuck you, you incompetent bitch." When the hell did this become acceptable? I'll tell you right now: it's not. I don't care how mad you are at who wrote something what way, you do NOT verbally denigrate someone like that.
This is someone's job, someone's lifeline, someone's PASSION. It's okay for you to not like what content is produced, but can you seriously tell me anyone actually feels good about sending DEATH THREATS to the staff of a CHILDREN'S CARTOON? Or anything else, for that matter?
The show staff is in the creative business. I get that. They're going to get off-the-cuff remarks from time to time, and they've probably developed a thick skin to criticism. But sending a death threat or a cursing rant is not criticism. It is just fucking unpleasant. The next time you decide to send something like that, do the rest of the world a favor and break your keyboard instead.
I'd like to think I'm generally a very optimistic person. But people are beginning to truly disgust me.

Well said. That is one of the main reasons why this fandom disgusts me sometimes.
