Sparklespy

I like dark stories, (grimdark too if they have a good enough plot), but I also love a nice adventure. Tragedy strikes close to home, and I love that feeling. People say I'm weird... I embrace it.

    With opened eyes

    You know, I once thought writing would be easy- and it is, albeit only in short stories and other oneshots.

    Before I joined FimFiction, I never tried to write anything more than a few thousand words, and now realise just how hard it is to keep a story going, and to avoid stutters and breaks. Because of this eye opener, I now appreciate other peoples work alot more.

    Troubles of an Upstart

    As I have never written before, my flow is coming out all sluttering and unrefined. So my first will probably take a while, as it has to meet certain expectations.
    I don't like making something imperfect- is that OCD?

I'm the same way...

except you'll find that all my writing is crap. :twilightsmile:

1843762 But who is to judge what is and isn't crap?
Is it not the opinion of your own judging eye?

1843858 Me.
I'm pretty sure I can identify a giant pile of smelly brown shit on the ground, can't you?
:rainbowlaugh:

1843863 One mans trash is another mans treasure;
After all, diamonds are coal under pressure.

1843868 That is, indeed, a true fact.
Adding to that: periodically, most writing has more significance than what meets the eye at a first glance.
Meh. I'm getting nowhere.
