What's This Account For?

On Reddit (and other places) there is a concept of a novelty account, an account named and intended for a specific purpose. My purpose is to make rule 63 versions of your clopfics. I do this because I want to get into writing clop, but I'm much more adept at description and characterization than I am at settling on story ideas or coming up with a semi-coherent plot. Also, the world needs more r63

You may be asking "Who the fuck are you and why should I trust you with my amazing clopfic?"

A fair question. I set this account up because I don't want my primary account to be associated with my clop work. I am an established ponyfic author with hundreds of followers on my main account; I have written several fics featured on Equestria Daily and have also had a fic featured on Pony Fiction Vault. If anyone doubts my word and is able to find someone reasonably authoritative willing to independently verify, I'd be happy to send proof. I do not have any explicit clop on my main account, and I intend to keep it that way.

So how will this work? In order to comply with site rules, common decency, and reasonable quality standards, I have some restrictions for myself.

Restrictions I Will Follow

1. If a FIMFiction mod tells me that some aspect of this violates site rules, I will work with them to find a way to do this within the rules (I have already edited these rules once at a mod's request). If such a way can't be found, I will give up and move on with my life.
2. I will work on r63 versions of stories only with the express permission of the author or authors of that story.
3. I will provide the r63 version to the source author to post as an additional chapter on the source story. Please give me at least editorial credit for that chapter. I will not post these stories on any other account or site, but I give the source author permission to do so as long as I am given at least editorial credit. I will not use these stories for personal profit. I will keep a blog post on this account with a list of links to stories with chapters I have edited.
4. I will r63 every character, not just a subset. Stallions will become mares, dickgirls will become cuntboys, feminine herms will become masculine herms, FtM will become MtF. You'll find that like many things about me, this goes both ways. Fetishes and orientation will not change. Dominants will stay dominant, submissives will stay submissive, ponies who like receiving something will still like receiving it (if it's physically possible). Ponies attracted to the same gender will be attracted to the same gender, ponies attracted to the opposite gender will be attracted to the opposite gender; since the gender changes, the r63 versions of ponies will be attracted to the r63 versions of ponies that they were attracted to in the source.
5. I will work only on stories where changing the gender of the participants will significantly change the sex involved. Keep your vanilla straight romantic clop away from me; it's sickening.
6. I will re-write the sex almost completely, but will use other portions of your writing with only slight modifications. I will edit any sections I do use to more closely match my style but will not change the plot or characterization beyond what is necessary for characters of different gender without agreement from the source author. All source authors have full permission to use any part of my edited version in their fic (I will clean up grammar and such as a matter of course, so my version may be 'cleaner' that the original if the source author does not have a dedicated editor). I may change things substantially, to the degree that the prose does not closely resemble the prose in the original, so be warned.

Will you only do this for good stories?

No, but I will only do it for genuine stories, not parodies or anything intentionally bad. Be warned that the lower the quality of the source, the more I will change.

I'm an author, how do I get you to r63 my stuff?

Send me a PM with a link to the story you want an r63 version of and permission to do my thing in accordance with the rules above. The PM must come from the account where you published the story so that I know you have the authority to give me permission to make a derivative work.

I'm a fan of a clopfic and I really want you to make an r63 version, how do I get you to do that?

Tell the author about me and ask them to read this blog and send their permission. Do not pester the author about it. Do not pester me about it; I won't ask the author for you.
