About "I've got a jar of derp"

For those who don't know/remember, it's my future Pirates of the Carribean crossover. Anyways, I wanted your guys' insight on how you'd want it to be laid out.
Do you want a one-shot, in which I can work on and publish it once I'm done with the next chapter for one of my other stories, or have it be an actual story where you will have to wait until I finish another of my stories (Afterlife is almost at the halfway point, woo.) and then start working on it religiously until I'm happy with a couple of chapters?
