Wow, I thought writing Fluttershy was hard, Shining armor was ten times worse.
Anyway, Chapter 4 is up and it's reached the point where I'm going to have to unleash some Bios of the characters, so that you all know the backstory of each of them as it is in my Neverend Series. Starting with today's subject, Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight Sparkle.
Age (when the story begins): 18
History: Born an orphan living in Miss Maridus' home for those lost in Canterlot, she was an excellent child. One day, however, the orphanage burned to the ground due to a magic spell gone wrong. With nowhere and no one to turn to, Twilight was forced to live on the streets and become a thief. One day she hit it big, parked along her usual route was a delightful little carriage, and inside it was a large basket of apples. Twilight, being starved all day long, felt she had hit the mother load. She made to steal one of the apples, but came face to face with Princess Celestia herself. A chase ensued, when suddenly the burst of a Sonic Rainboom was seen throughout the land. Twilight lost control of her magic upon seeing the Rainboom, causing a small explosion that injured the two royal guards that had cornered her. This show of potential intrigued Celestia, and she decided to take her up as an apprentice, giving her a home with two of her most loyal subjects.
Hope you all like this story, and I hope you all will like the backstories as I post them.

Rainbow Dash's is the one people will hate me for though, but it leads to some interesting developments later in the Neverend Series.
Not to mention that this isn't the whole background for any of the characters this early in the story, because a lot of spoilers could come from them.
