My blue OC explained, if you're interested that is.

Well hello all that favorited my story, as I promised I am going to explain my blue OC seeing as how I'm probably giving up on my series of the mane 6, sorry but I haven't the time.

So if it hasn't been so long now that you don't remember who I'm talking about:

My blue Pegasus friend was an idea I tossed into the story to keep the BG ponies simple and clean and in fact only decided on his color by the OC pony tag. He was simple enough for his purpose, as I re-thought the story I decided to give him a little more role, just as a forgettable BG who is somehow everywhere. Throughout remaking him I gave Ditzy Doo's job of delivering the letter to Dash from the Wonderbolts, and allowed him to push the 2 remaining CMC to annoyance on his way through the forest.

Basically I wanted a reoccurring force that didn't fix the problems of the characters, but rather one who would in secret allow the characters to see what they needed. This example being clear in him giving Scootaloo the tear specked dawing of her hero he had taken from the clubhouse prior to Dash's return to the city. He also was the one to deliver Dash's letter, a title that made no difference in her choices but would give him the personal connection to it.

If you would like, simply think of him as the one, all knowing pony who cannot tell one pony how another feels despite the trouble it would save. My OC would know that a lesson learned through hardship will forge stronger bonds than a confession of gratitude from both sides and a fast solution.

While I wish I had the ability to write a story on every pony in the mane 6 group and continue his careful press through their problems I'm afraid it's simply too much for me to handle right now, I'm not as fast on their stories as I was on this one although I did nearly finish both Twilight and Rarity's stories.
